Having larger than normal sized breasts at your age can be very embarassing. All the guys will "eye" you and make suggestive remarks. Most girls will be jealous and some might even start rumors about you. Right now, since you are still growing, you don't want a reduction. What you need is a good support bra. Have you been fitted for one? It is just one of those things that cannot be helped.

And to top it off, cute clothes and shirts are hard to find and I know you don't want to go into the "misses" section or "women's" section to shop. I found that wearing a v-necked shirt draws the eye up to my face, rather than a round-necked shirt (like a t-shirt) which will appear to make you bigger. It's okay to wear t-shirts but just be aware of the style. Don't wear horizontal stripes (sideways) or, as you probably know by now, too tight shirts. Always make sure your buttons don't pull between the button holes.

I know, I've been through that. It's hard, but concentrate on your studies, making friends and doing teenage stuff. Don't hunch over to try to hide yourself. Some people with little minds and nothing to do will always try to make your life hell, so do your best to ignore them.

My sister is 16 and has the same problem. It makes her look much bigger than she really is and she gets stared at alot. She also wears very tight shirts which don't help the situation but she wants to wear jr clothes because they are cute and suitable for her age but it's hard to because everything is too small. I don't think you are being ungrateful at all. Besides it's very bad for your back. My sister lives in California and she can't get a reduction until she is 18 but she is definately going to get one and I think she will be much happier. If you have insurance, more than likely it will be covered as it is a health problem. Just wear a good bra and maybe a cute open button shirt over your shirt and don't wear tight shirts with writing on them. Sorry you're having such a hard time.

Of course you're not being ungrateful! Though some of us say we'd love to have your size in breasts, we don't really know how we'd feel until we have them. It's important to feel good about yourself, and that means feeling good about your body too. If your breasts are drawing so much negative attention that you're finding it hard to deal with, and you've thought very thoroughly about a breast reduction, then you should consult a doctor. You're only 13, so your breasts are likely to get bigger...so should you opt for surgery, whether you wait until you've grown some more or have surgery soon to avoid more problems is something to think about. Consider too the kind of strain they may be putting on your body/back. Anyhoo, a doctor, maybe even a counselor or your parents, can help you weigh the pros and cons of having surgery. Ultimately, you should feel comfortable and confident about yourself.

You are not ungrateful. And don't listen to anyone who tells you other wise. I understand how awkward it is. If you are being harassed you need inform an adult so that it can stop. But, don't worry about a breast reduction just yet. Unless you are having back problems then you should seek some medical attention.

Unless your breasts are interfering with your normal everyday activities no PS will operate on you until after you turn 18, and insurance can cover for it (it covered mine 100%!).

For now, try wearing a "minimizer" bra. It kind of squishes you to make you seem smaller than you are. First go get professionally sized at Sears Nordstroms or JCPenneys (NOT victoria secret, I've heard very negative reviews about them sizing incorrectly).

you are NOT being ungrateful! its okay! too much attention does not feel good after a while. if you feel your breasts are going to determine your future..you should get the breast reduction. its just not right, looks shouldnt determine who you are but if people are only going to see your breasts and not you...you should probably have it done. dont listen to people that say your "ungrateful." most of them probably dont have breasts and have low self esteem because of it, they dont understand what its like and what it feels like to have so much attention.

no dont worry i see plenty of girls at middle school when i was 13 who had big boobs its natural dont get me wrong some do have small ones and medium boobs but i also did see big boobs im sure if you keep them when you get older your body will grow and it will catch up to the size of your boobs and it wont be that noticable but IF it really REALLY bugs you then i do agree maybe you should get a breast reduction and im sure you can get it when your like 16 or so

you usually have to wait until you're 18, but you can get it sooner if you have your parents permission and the doctor thinks you're mature enough and doing it for the right reasons.
usually, you have to wait until they have stopped developing, and at 13, it's pretty unlikely. the best thing to do would be talk to a doctor about it, and even if you can't get them reduced soon, it will show them that you are committed.

I know I have large chest also, if you lose weight they will shrink. and African Americans tend to have very large chests. I have just had to consider mine a blessing cause my husband loves them you are only 13 so just don't worry about them. don't wear shirts with cleavage and read the style mags they give tips on how to dress for a big bust.
