Exfoliators for Men?

One of my best guy friends has been really itchy lately, and is constantly scratching his arms and back...he wants an exfoliator to slough off the dry skin, but doesn't know where to start, and neither do I (I'm taking him shopping for it)...any tips on a good scrub? He doesn't want smelly stuff I presume...

I mix some baking soda in with my regular body soap once a week and it's a great cheap and unscented exfoliator... Just apply to washcloth/poof and apply soap..... Make a paste and rub all over body... It will also help relieve itchy spots...
