Should I get a tatto for the first day of school? All my friends are gonna be trying to pick out the best thing to wear for the 1st day. I think if I just had a tatto I would beat all of them. This is our last year, and I REALLY wanna be edgy. Last year people just signed my yearbook "Have a good summer" LOLZ

What tatto should i get? It has to be kinda tough, but also cool, and maybe cute so girls will like it.

Just because you get a tattoo does not necessarily make you look cool. You will have to get one on your lower fore arm so it can be seen. That just wouldn't be a good enough reason to get something put on your body that is there for a lifetime. Tattoos are for people who crave attention, which is what you want.

Guys, there is hope after all. I just knew this question would have everyone saying go for it, get one, and descriptions of the ones to get. I have never laughed so hard at some of these answers.

Especially aarilyn's mama. That is hilarious.

Other than trying to impress friends that you probably won't talk to in ten years unless you run into them, and you "REALLY wanna be edgy," you haven't come up with a good reason to get a tattoo. I can give you 3 good reasons not to get a tattoo.
1) If the tattoo doesn't have a deep personal meaning to you, you will most likely end up regretting the tattoo in the future.
2) Having a tattoo will prevent you from having an MRI, which to simplify it for you, stands for Magnetic Resonance Imaging. It will help detect most cancers, tumors, heart & lung tissue problems, as well as checking the brain for deterioration.
3) There is no point in getting a tattoo to be tough and cool, because most girls actually don't like them. Girls either like them or they don't, so sorry, but no middle ground there.

So, my final advice is think about it for a year or so, and then get one because it means something to you, not because you want to be the best when school starts.

Your first question was "SHOULD I get a tattoo...?" Honestly...No. I don't believe children should be allowed to get tattoos. You should be out of high school and at least 18 years of age and an adult capable of making an informed, well-considered decision. This is something that will be with you for the rest of your life, not something that wears out at the end of the school year like your sneaks. If you want edgy, get a haircut or dye it some different color(s) or find some funky clothes. Sorry... not what you wanted to hear, but true...

Tatoo your school mascot on your forehead. That will get people talking about you more. Most tatoos are in places that are covered by clothing anyways. So the only way to show everyone is to constantly be pulling your shirt up or to the side. Not very cool, and your plan to be "edgy" would backfire.

Just be yourself. A lot more people would respect that over a tatoo,

I already have the feeling that a tattoo won't help you pick up more girls.

What if you learn something on the first day of school that makes you think tattoos are a bad idea?

What if neither your friends nor the girls like your tattoo, what're you gonna do, get a skin-graft for 'em?

I don't think you should get a tattoo as you can't even spell it properly. Also, I don't like guys who are tattooed, personally. I also don't think your reason is strong enough to permanently mark your body. Impressing some friends will not matter fifty years from now when you're stuck with an image on your skin.

So, let me get this straight.

You are wanting to know exactly how you should permanently disfigure yourself because your friends might wear something cool to school and/or because some high school chick that is a doubtful prospect for a long term relationship might notice it?

Why don't you just have the words "Short sighted dumb@ss" tattooed on your forehead.

wow ur gonna permanantly disfigure ur skin (not to mention getting a potentially fatal infection or hepititus) just to impress ur friends. thats stupid. the girls i no think tatoos are gross and itll fade and age wierd as u grow up if u dont go to a really good tatto parlor. dye ur hair or something instead dont get a tatto.

omg!
like, if tthere was a boi that had a new tat2 on the 1st day of skool, i would try to hard to be his grl friend, and i think like everyone would love it! plus, no one would have it like you. you would be UNIQUE and ORIGNAL!! so, i think you should get a tribal dsgn (you know, those black ones that are all solid?!?!) and then in the middle, you could get a DREAMCATCHER! or maybe some flames or something. if you reallly want to be oringinal though, you could get a tattoo that is a star on your uppr arm. maybe a band of strz and stripes! like the american flag!!! then when you wear your abercrombie shirt, it would show. but actually, abercrombie is out this year, so you could go to HOLLISTER and get one of those shirts with the fake tat2 birds on the shouldrs?!?! that would be HOTT to show your tat2 on your arm!!

Being your last year in school, you should be developed enough mentally to know that these days, a tattoo can be removed so go for it if you want, it will just be as painful and probably more expensive to get it removed if you find later in life you don't like it. Try to find a tattoo that you will enjoy the rest of your life and don't let others tell you it is wrong.
