i have fair skin but i tan/burn easily..[both. it depends in what area...on my legs/stomach/arms i tan easily & on my shoulders i burn & my face half and half.] Anyway...today its going to be really sunny & warm where i live. How long should i lay outside for to get a tan? I'm going to lie outside around 11 [is that a good time?] and then im going to the pool after a little.

I'm going to be applying sunscreen a LOT on the areas i burn & on the areas i tan im gunna put tanning oil on.

will i get a reasonable tan?

I want to get a tattoo but I want it to come out looking as good as possible. I want to make sure I choose the right artist to do it but I really don't know anything about the different shops near me, nor do I know anyone who does. I'm 21, and have been shaving since I was 13 and have never been able to successfully use shave cream. All those shaving commercials on tv always frown up the using the "razor and soap" routine when shaving your legs. Well, I have to because I can never use shaving cream without continuous bleeding for like, an hour! I literally have to wrap my legs in a towel to clot the blood. I've tried every kind of razor out there, I don't use the same razor more than twice, I've tried every kind of shave cream out there, but no matter what cream I use, I get terrible razor burn and bleed everywhere!! I thought I was pushing too hard, so I tried that, didn't push hard enough, still nothing! But when I shave with just a razor and water, I'm perfectly fine! Why is this? I've tried everything! What am I doing wrong?

I have an eyebrow infection and I really need suggestions on how to make it go away. Its only about a 14G or so... small. Anyway, it's all crusty around the holes and when I take out the ring, it's swollen and puss comes out. Right now I take it out everyday and soak the ring and the peirced part of my face in peroxide. It seems to be helping very little, but still helping. Is this good or bad? Any other ways I can heal it?

today i was picking up some of the neutrogena acne gel stuff, and i happened to see the acne scar remover (something like that). it was like 14 dollars so i didnt buy it, because i did not know if it worked. the scars arent THAT bad, but they're noticable. they are kind of like little indentions in my face, mostly on my cheeks. so does it work or no? worth the money? should i get something from the derm?

I want to get the Aerosmith wings tattooed on me just a small one! My friend desined one for me from a original symbol! i want to do it purple and pink and small but im not sure if I should put it on my inner upper arm or like on my hip or foot. I just started epilating (similar to waxing), and despite daily sponge exfoliation in the shower, + my AHA lotion, I'm getting a lot of ingrown hairs. The lotion I've BEEN using is Kiss My Face Olive & Aloe, Vanilla... which is "5% AHA." But either that isn't strong enough, or my year-old bottle has expired. (Is that possible??) I just bought Jergens Skin Smoothing lotion, which is supposedly also AHA, but they don't put the percentage on the bottle... so I have no idea how strong it is. Any recommendations? I'm really hoping I can cut down on these ingrown hairs with a sponge + lotion!

I went to a water park yesterday and got burnt pretty much everywhere my bikini wasn't. It's not beat red but its pretty pink and itchy and hot and uncomfertable! Any suggestions on what to make the color go away/go down. And how to make it stop itchy and feeling tight? I'm using cream and solcaine.

i bought a bottle of pure aloe vera oil whilst on holiday last year i got it because i had a very annoying case of prickly heat what else is it good for?

I'm considering using hair removal cream to remoce hair from legs and the easiest products so far I've heard to get are Veet and Nair, but the thing is I've heard some mixed reviews on these two products so I'm not sure what I should and shouldn't get.
