I have an eyebrow infection and I really need suggestions on how to make it go away. Its only about a 14G or so... small. Anyway, it's all crusty around the holes and when I take out the ring, it's swollen and puss comes out. Right now I take it out everyday and soak the ring and the peirced part of my face in peroxide. It seems to be helping very little, but still helping. Is this good or bad? Any other ways I can heal it?

I'm allergic to steel, so all of my rings are either surgical steel, titanium, or nickle.

you are not supposed to use peroxide

here are a few questions.

how long have you had the piercing?
what coor is this "pus" which is actually called lymph and more commonly called discharge (a whitish to a light yellow is normal. and crusties are normal throughout the healing process) if the lymph is bright yellow or green it is a sign of infection and you need to go to the doctors to get put on anti biotics

is it red or swollen ? feeling "hot" to the touch/?

if all of these answers are No then it is not infected.

please stop the peroxide. and do NOT use rubbing alcohols or ointments on it either

all of these and th eperoxide you are using will only build up scar tissue. these are too harmful of chemicals to use on your piercings. especially fresh.. they will nto helo if you have an infection or not

do sea salt soaks twice a day for 10 to 15 minutes at ta time

these soaks aid in the healing process, draws out the lymph and loosens up and crusties you have from your jewelry. also fights and prevnts infection. who knew sea salt could do so much! lol

and leave the jewelry in! the more you fumble wiht ti the more irritated you will make your piercing!

Go to a doctor. As soon as possible.
What is the ring made of? Try a higher quality [ surgical steel or gold ] ring, and the doctor.
If the infection gets worse, you could damage your eyesight , or get permanent scarring.
