I am kinda pale. I want a natural looking tan.

I live in IL. I have a sunny yard. How can I get a tan? How long do I lay. What should I put on my skin?

By the way, my mom wont let me go to a booth or get a Mystic tan.

I tan indoors 2-3 times weekly. I am getting a really nice tan, but I want to get darker.
Right now, here are the lotions I am using in my rotation:
Sex Kitten
Mango Tango (by Planet Beach)
Dream on
and Hearts Desire

i'm 14 a guy and i'm wondering if i should trim my pubic hair again. its getting all curley and wondering should i keep it or trim it? I really don't care about the itching and also, is trimming almost all of it off too much? and girls what do u like better hair or no hair?( just wondering )

Castile soap bars from the health food stores are just too expensive for my budget. Other natural soaps often contain coconut oil for lather, which I always get a really nasty reaction to. I'm also an experienced soapmaker and everyone else loves my soaps and they are nice & moisturizing, but for some reason they give me these little red dots on my skin....

Only thing I can think of is going back to store brands, but what is a good brand that isn't at all drying and may have at least some nice ingredients for the skin?

(FYI - I'm not a big fan of body washes.)

On my upper back there is something blackish that is stuck to it. The top part of it is stuck on the skin but the bottom is not stuck to the skin. I tried to pull it off but it seems like the small part that is stuck will not pull off. Around it feels like there is a bump or something. HELP ME!!!!!

i got a tattoo on monday and it is on my hip, this is right under my pant line and my trouser line, i feel comfortable when i wear a skirt but when i have to wear trousers it really dries my skin and makes my tattoo sore. When i just had the tattoo they covered it with cream and clingfilm cover. can i keep doing that now for when i take a shower and when i wear trousers? this wont be damaging to my tattoo? I am probably over-worrying but this is my first tattoo and i dont want to do it any damage. thanks

Ok I'm Getting A Tatoo Within The Next Year Or So.. i had a breast augmentation 2 weeks ago and have been told that if i want to start using the sun beds again i will have to cover them up. what do u think i should wear? a little top?? will this protect the scars enough do you think? or will i need two layers (two thin little tops) or sun screen?
Just dont particularly want tan lines as will be wanting to wear low cut tops as soon as can wear normal bras and will be wanting to be fairly tanned. x

I was at a lecture recently where a (board-certified) dermatologist spoke about skin cancer and ways to help prevent it and treatments and such, and she did touch on skin rejuvenation. I was really surprised when she said that topical vitamin c is 'not stable' so that no one really knows for sure if it makes a difference on the face as there are so many claims about it. She said that the retinoids are supposed to be much more effective such as retin-a. Anyone else hear about topical vitamin c? I found it to be very interesting, and I was really glad that I attended the talk :) Thanks!

I have had my eyebrow ring for about 13 months and it's still healing. This is the second time I've got it done in the same spot. The first one I kept yanking on it by combing my bang, that didn't feel to good so I just took it out and let it close. This one I am more careful with however, I must admit that I don't clean it everyday, but out of a week I would say it gets cleaned maybe 4 days out of 7. It gets that crusty dry crap around the ring and it freaks me out. I clean it with regular dial soap (antibacterial) and the spray (for piercings) that the people gave me at the tattoo parlor so shouldn't it be healed by now or am I just being impatient????

I've always used Daisy disposible razors (2 blades with the little moisturizing strip). But have been tempted to try those Silk or Venus razors. Do they really make a difference?
