Castile soap bars from the health food stores are just too expensive for my budget. Other natural soaps often contain coconut oil for lather, which I always get a really nasty reaction to. I'm also an experienced soapmaker and everyone else loves my soaps and they are nice & moisturizing, but for some reason they give me these little red dots on my skin....

Only thing I can think of is going back to store brands, but what is a good brand that isn't at all drying and may have at least some nice ingredients for the skin?

(FYI - I'm not a big fan of body washes.)

Personally, I like Aveeno daily moisturizing bar. I use it on my face, and my body (when I have dry patches). It doesn't lather too much, but my dermatologist recommended it to me over a year ago.

The best moisturizing soaps I have tried is Dove$4-$5, Olay Body $4-$7, St. Ives $5-$7, and Bath and Body $15-$20.

I am loving the new Dove Pro Age line. The bar soap contains olive oil and mild exfoliants. It smells lovely and not at all over powering.

Kiss My Face, is also a great brand, but unlike Dove, it is made strictly from olive oil.

A good one is Dove original cream bar soap. It also is good for the face. It really softens and works well.
Happy Washing.

My dermatologist recomended dove unscented for body and basis for face, but it depends on your skin type.
