Baby oil is not a good choice. Baby oil is mineral oil and the mineral oil clogs your skin and does not let it breathe.Did you know that mineral oil is actually a bi-product of crude oil., but it is very expensive to get rid of it environmentally so the companies sell it to cosmetics and they then put it in many different products. O.k i will come off my soapbox now.

try a water based tanner, it will help you tan and also keep you skin healthy and glowing. Who would want a nice tan if it wrecks your skin?

Don't use baby oil!! You put that stuff on you won't need to worry about getting tanned, You will fry like a french fry!! Use a sun lotion . There are a lot of good brands on the market!

I had done that a few times and seriously regret it. My complexion looks as though I used the baby oil as I have hyperpigmentation or melasma (darker patches) as they also call it along with a loss of elasticity thus some sagginess. I now only use a sunblock with uva and uvb protection, sun protection factor (spf) of 30 or above.

It doesn't take long. BUT tanning with baby oil is soo bad for your skin. It fries it and it doesnt let it breath.

It's a lot quicker with it then without. I use it myself, but then again it is horribly bad for you. It makes you skin not able to breath and it also kind of feels gross on your body. I always want to take a shower when I put it on.
ALSO
if you're very fair skinned I def wouldn't recommend it.
you will get the worst sun burn ever.
