I will be on vacation for 5 days there and am considering getting a tattoo there if I can find someone that is really good. Nothing major - Asian symbols on my lower back. I just don't have a lot of free time at home to do this so I am considering getting it done at the tail end of my trip. Would anyone advise against this? (pain, might be uncomfortable flying home?) Thanks :)

well its chinese lettering.. small tattoo a little lower then where my belly is. well i got the tattoo about four days ago, that tattoo artists told me to put "Palmer's Cocoa Butter Cream" on the tattoo at least five times a day and wash it once in the morning and once at night..


but just today when i took a shower, without rubbing it, a lot of the black kinda peeled off..
now im looking at the tattoo and there's spots that seem to have less black then other, but also its very shiny, even without putting on lotion..

i really don't know if this is normal.. i don't want the color to all go away, or for it to be weird so what should i do???

i don't know if the fact that i wear jeans alot has something to do with it

hi all - wondering....I can't believe I did this but i just booked my addition to my tattoo or a 2nd tattoo...going to be my daughter's Chinese name next to her portrait (3 characters....name is her actual Chinese name, not one created by the artist) The tattoo is 3 characters but since it is completely filled in basically, is this going to cause that much more pain than the initial tattoo with shading AND solid lines? I remember that the solid lines bothered me less than the shading but just wanted to get viewpoints from other individuals with both shading and solid line experience. Any thoughts?

It's not easy finding the right product for men as far as facial creams or lotions are concerned. I have always taken good care of my skin, and it shows.....I look alot younger than my age suggests; but lately my face seems to be a little dryer than normal. I have always had relatively oily skin, but now it's turned into combination skin. Can anyone suggest the best products in the market in either an after-shave balm or a facial skin cream/lotion? I recently got my ears pierced.. and i took out my earrings in about 4 -5 weeks after the piercing. At first, the post was hard to pull out but I eventually did after trying very hard.. and it hurt really bad. And theres a soft bump in both my ears. I dont have anymore earrings to put in they are like post (I only have hoops that my friend bought) but if I put in hoops will that be okay? I dont want my ears to close up =/

I went to the dermatologist on tues. and he gave me antibiotics, a cream called differin, and something to rub on my face in the morning! i have been taking the antibiotics, and rubbing the creams on my face! my question is how long does it take for the acne to almost totally clear up! I have fat cheeks, i'm naturally skinny, and i never would think to go on a diet, i think if i get any thinner people would think i'm anorexic or something, but my cheeks... i know that surgery or whatever can help, and that there are makeup tricks you can do, but is there anything else?

I broke up with my boyfriend today after almost 2 years and I cant stop crying. My eyes are already swollen and I know they are only gonna get worse. Why are most guys cheatin pig ba$tards? This isn't my 1st tat but it's my 12th!!! So don't treat me as a newbie here & want serious answers/help. I haven't done anything different than any of the others either. But I got my newest tat on Jan 13th towards my shin & I'd say a day or 2 after the initial itching period subsided it started itching like mad while I was reading a book. When I looked down at it thinking maybe it's dry I see that it has a rash all the way around it spanning about an inch away from it including on it. It doesn't burn or have heat coming from it so I know it's not infected.

Since I'm too busy at work to go into the doctor till the end of next week I decided to try putting Desitin (diaper rash ointment) on it which has seemed to work for the most part but has anybody ever had this happen? I'm open to suggestions but not jerky comments from opnionated people who are against tats.

so i have a little bit of scar tissue. first time i got it pierced, it was too shallow so it had to be taken out. second time, it never healed and got infected and was sore, so i took it out again. now i want to get it pierced again. i am 22. any advice?

I have dry skin... So usually during the winter I use cold creme on my face and it lasts for the entire day. But today I got up and my face felt a little itchy. So, washed my face with a cleanser like every morning and applied cold creme. Since then I have applied cold creme every 30 mins. My face is absorbing the creme right up and then I my cheeks, forehead and chin start peeling off. My face is kind of hot and itchy and a little tingly. I don't think I am having an allergic reaction to anything cause I am eating the same food as always and using the same soaps/cleansers/lotions/cremes... Can Some one please help me? I am really irritated. I don't wear a lot of make up. i don't know what the problem is.

I would really appreciate some home remedies or any advice that you can throw at me. Please help me.

Can you use Extra Virgin Olive Oil on your face? I've heard people say yes and no. What if you have oily skin? I use it on my body but I have never thought of putting it on my face.
