eh, if they're really big hoops don't, the weight of them can pull your ears down and just make it hurt more. get some small rings, they're a lot more manageable and less prone to infection. clean your ears at least once a day, and don't play around with them at all. however, you do want to turn the earring about three times a day just so the skin doesn't tighten up and can "breath". until its fully healed though and doesn't bother you, you shouldn't get too extravagant on earring choices. vitamin e lotion can help with those bumps, i use to get those all the time. usually they'll heal away on their own.

You will probably have to put the piercing posts back in for another two weeks, in order to the hole to heal to the proper size.
The small lumps you feel are natural, everyone has those after a piercing ... it's your body's natural reaction to a foreign body being present (the earring) ... your body forms a "capsule" around where the earring is ... thus, small permanent lumps are formed.
Sterilize the original earring posts by leaving them in rubbing alcohol for about five minutes, then clean any debris off of them with a cotton swab. Using another cotton swab, clean both ears. Leave the post wet with rubbing alcohol, and insert it into the hole .. and once you have them in, dab a little more alcohol on them. For the next two weeks, you have to apply rubbing alcohol on a daily basis ... and when you do, turn the earring a couple of times ... this prevents the skin from growing onto the earring, and thus makes it hard to remove and causes a new open wound.
Hope this helps ... :)

you want to make sure you have something in it b/c sometimes if you leave a earring out more than 30 mins it will grow back up. If you do put the hoop earring in it will be just fine.

those little bumps are not an infection they are build ups of fluids in your ear loups if you just rub them where the bumps are then that will go away.. and yea hoops will be ok once you have better openings like give it 2 more weeks.... i got my ears pierced this time last year and the same thing happened

I would get an antibiotic cream and put it on everynight and morning after a shower..if it dosent start to clear up in 2 days i would go to the doctor. bactricin is a good over the counter antibiotic cream. i dont think the hole will close if you leave it out for a few days.. but you might be allergic to anything that isnt real gold or silver.

the same thing happened to me and like four of my friends-but if you put cream on it and don't put the earring back in until the bump goes away. The hole may close up but you can reopen it-it'll hurt a bit, but after that it'll be fine.

You probably got cysts in your ears. There may have been non-sterile tool used, your skin could have reacted to the metal or many other things could have caused this. You should check with your doctor.
