Skin & Body - December 2006

I recently started work in a Borders cafe. I have never done food service work before and all the dish washing and cleaning has exposed my hands to some very harsh chemicals. In addition, it is winter here. As a result my hands are very rough, dry and cracking. I don't have a great deal of money to spend, so I was wondering if anyone knew of any homeopathic treatments, using common household ingredients that would not cost much, that would be good for relieving my hands, and softening them up?

i take a shower then take a bath...my friend told that is going to irrated my skin...but if i take the bath like that for some reason i do feel unclea-i hate bubble baths just simple one. is she right? am i irratating my skin? and also i hear that if u add milk or brocolli water in the bath, it helps your skin..

A makeup artist told me that one needs a separate eye cream "because the molecules of a regular face cream are too large to be absorbed by the delicate skin of the eye area." Sounds like a bunch of baloney designed to sell more products! hahah. But on the other hand, I've read something similar elsewhere (like in a reputable book on skincare). Hmm... is it true? Or can i use the same cream around my eyes as I use on the rest of my face?
