I have seen photos of UV tattoos and I think they look pretty cool. There is a parlor up here that has the UV ink and I am thinking about getting a tattoo outlined in UV ink.

The company that makes that stuff reportedly had put out some manipulated advertising their distributors picked up on claiming it was FDA approved. The FDA only approved it to mark FISH!!

I wouldn't give that company a dime to buy that stuff let alone tattoo it into any of my clients. Stay away from it!

They discolor and the UV stops working after about 8-10 years

Last I heard, that ink still hadn't been approved as being 100% safe for your skin.

If it's what you want, and you're willing to take the chance of having some sort of reaction to it, then go right ahead.

I have 15 tattoos, but I'm not THAT brave.

It can be risky, there are certain hazards using that kind of ink. Your skin might react to it. There are temporary versions of UV tattoos that don't pose any risk.

I have heard they discolor easy, and the ink may be dangerous.

They can be dangerous and cause numerous problems. I got one done, but was never told or aware that it could cause problems.

I don't have any issues with mine, yet...but I somewhat regret the tattoo.

wow--I never heard of them before, I just looked it up. They look very cool, but I would make sure it's safe before you get one. : )
