I'm 14, live in Singapore and have 2 tattooes. Am unable to get anymore coz my school might kick me out. But I do want to learn to tattoo. I was a former art programme student if that helps? My dad's fine with it. My whole family's been making fun of me coz of it, But I really want to and have really gotten used to it by now.

I don't know much about Singapore, but, if you're only 14, I highly doubt you'll be able to be a tattoo artist for at least a few years.

Wait a while, and when you're a little older, if it's something you really want to do, you'll have to go talk to a tattoo artist that will let you apprentice in his shop, so you can learn how to tattoo.

Its very very hard but if was going that route apprenticeship might be better two three years like yoji in miami ink, the standard of drawing etc is very high these days be worth getting some art together and portfolio so can show a decent studio, but most places would require a formal qualitcation so they can see have the skills etc drawing paper etc is nothing like doing it for real on skin. Get some designs together and maybe get something formal so can prove are committed etc.

An up and coming tattoo artists would need to serve an apprenticeship with an already established artist.

my best advice wait until you get out of high school if you are worried about the school will kick you out. you still young have patient to your self. to tell you its bad to have tattoo in the body thats the bible said. but you want it badly so go ahead but wait until you finished school. some company if they found out you have tattoo on your body they will not going to hire you just to let you know about that they against about tattoo. If you want to learn it go ask the person who doing the tattoo they will give you explanation about art of tattoo school. but be patient wait until you finished school. then do it
