I do the opposite. A lot of times I'll take a bath, then do a shower. I have eczema and it doesn't irritate my skin at all, but it can be a bit drying. Just make sure you moisturize after while damp and your skin will be fine. I've heard of milk baths, but it's all milk, and no water. Leave that to the spa. LOL Broccoli in the bath water? That just sounds weird, but I've never heard of it. All the spas I've read about, don't do anything involving vegetables in the water. LOL I can't think of any good it might do for you at all, so I would leave that out.

so you take a bath right after you take a shower? that is not going to irritate your skin, as long as you're using a good moisturizing bath wash--another thing you can think about using is bath salts, it's not bubble bath but it adds nutrients/vitamins to the water and also makes it smell good. If not, then I would suggest using a product line called ~H20+ Milk (specifically the Milk Shower Gel, which is a luxurious, foaming shower gel enriched with milk proteins and lipids to moisturize and soften the skin while gently cleansing). hope this helps! :)

If you are going to bath right after a shower, I would put some baking soda 1/4 cup into your water, it will soften, and sooth your skin.
I don't think I would add real milk to your water, they make bath "milk" , if that is something you want to try.
.......broccoli? That's just weird.
You could try a product from Aveno, or Vaseline, they have good sensitive skin products to use in the tub.I wouldn't use any kind of oily bath product, fraid of fallin'.
Good Luck, Hope you find a good suggestion that works for you, try them all.

Hey girlie,
OK... I totally understand your dilemna :) to bath or not to bath?
Contrary to what other people have written - bathing is NOT drying to your skin and when done with the RIGHT extra indulgence of the right product -- can actually be really beneficial to both your health and your skin.
Personally, I like to take a relaxing 15-20 minute soak to relax my body, de-stress a bit and detox. Then I take a quick shower (mainly just to wash my hair (as the bath water isn't the best for that).....
I'm a total bath product junkie and from all the products I've tried -- I really like adding bath salts. The ones from 'Sea Maid' (a cute little brand out here) are the best. They are really powdery and melt right away -- and they have the BEST scents ever.
The minerals in their sea salts absorb toxins that build up in our bodies from everyday stress....and TRUST ME .... they totally leave you super soft and smelling awesome.
People think salts dry out your skin -- but they don't know what's up -- sea salts actually tone your skin and help HEAL dry skin -- that's why doctors tell people with extreme dry skin, exzema, to bathe with sea salts. Also -- this brand is awesome because they usually sell them in bulk and you can mix and match the scents to make your own bath scent. Pretty cool, huh?
I sometimes add a few drops of a oil with the salts I use if I want it to be a little extra moisturizing.
Hope this helps -- I'm putting in a link if you wanna check it out...

I'm not sure of your question but in general baths are drying to the skin. When you are in water it makes you get rid of your skin barrier (oil) is washed away, leaving you unable to retain moisture.
About milk or brocolli I have no idea??

taking showers and then baths won't damage your skin but be careful not to have to the water so hot that your skin goes red because this results in nutrients being rubbed off your skin, which makes it less smooth.
