Makeup - March 2007

basically, i have a birthmark on my face, and i have been using concealers to hid it..

the thing is..it NEVER looks natural! like..it depends on the lighting..in actual sunlight, the concealed spot looks all reddish and stuff..

i'm kind of dark skinned..not really dark, not really light..

and so..my question is if anyone has any suggestions as to how to make a concealer match my skin tone throughout all kinds of light

**p.s. i have used dermablend, but like i said, it had that effect in the sunlight where it looked red and it was just disastrous

***p.p.s. my imperfection is above my lip, and so it's hard to apply powder because it wud seem like i have a moustache..

help..please??

i just don't like it when people look at "it" rather than at me in my eyes..u know??

it's just a hard emotional problem for me as well...

Theres a girl that im friends with and shes having a sleepover for her birthday, its all girls and me, they want to "doll me up" as she put it...should i let them, and is there anything i shouldnt let them put on me, like stuff that is hard to come off. I bought the Bare Minerals Foundation today. Not the kit, just the foundation. When I put it on, it just looks like I put my Maybelline translucent loose powder on. I thought this stuff was supposed to make my skin look great or something. Do I need to moisturize first, or what have I done wrong??! I hope I didn't waste $25!

I basically can not wear any earrings because my holes are stretched out. I might could possibly wear small studs but they would fall through the holes. I do not want to tear the holes completely out. I have read on the internet about adhesive stabilizers, like piercemate. I was just wondering if anyone has ever tried anything like this, and does it work? Or do you have any other suggestions?
