For the best results you will spend more than at the drug store if you truly want the BEST MASCARA go to beeroyalproducts.com the high definition mascara its 19.00 but I will add it lasts much longer than the other brands and every time you use it , it will feel like the first day you opened the tube, it is worth every penny

Oh, the search for the holy grail mascara! Oi, what a terrible time that is, and even when you think you've found one, you find yourself wanting more after awhile.
I have had good personal experience using Maybelline's Full 'n Soft, CoverGirl's LastExact, and L'Oreal's Telescopic. Other mascara I've heard many good reviews on, but either haven't tried or didn't like on myself, are DiorShow, Urban Decay's Big Fatty, and Lancome's Femme Fatale.
I'm personally using Telescopic at the moment and find it is an amazing mascara for lengthening lashes and giving a decent amount of volume. I found that Full 'n Soft gave me great volume and decent length - so pick your poison.
I'd only use waterproof on occasions that merit needing it... so the beach, an occasion where you know you'll cry (graduations, funerals, etc.), and those types of occasions... oh, and if you sweat a lot, or live in humid climates like Florida during the summer, waterproof might work well. Just make sure you do a good job taking it off at night, because waterproof mascara tends to be more stubborn to get off, and you'll probably require an oil-based makeup remover to break down the product.

Honestly, if you are only looking for cheap mascaras, then you will continue to have the problems that you are having, I say save up and splurge on one that may be a tad out of your budget, trust me, it's worth it. My favorite mascara that I can't live without is Too Faced's Lash Injection, it's a miracle!! It's made from elastic polymeres so it bends with your lashes and are never brittle or stiff, plus it's tar free, so that means..No black smudges under your eyes!! it retails at $19.50 at Sephora, Trust me, it's woth the sacrifice!

I like any of the Maybelline mascaras. It takes a while to find the "perfect" mascara, but Cover Girl has some good ones to give you length too.

the best mascara ive found at a drugstore is RimmelLondon's Lycra Mascara. its in a black tube with purple writing. its wonderful stuff. i have not found anything that compares with the length and volume it gives me. And plus...the "Lycra" in it makes it super flexible, so no stiff lashes!

The most amazing one I've come across is Rimmels Volume Flash, in a red container. Its great at separating and making your lashes look long and full.

I like Clinique's mascara. I asked this question before and many people said to try Lancome. I tried it and don't like it. It flakes. So, try the Clinique.

I use clinique mascara, try going to your local Macys and see the different varieties. I love it and it feels clean not clumpy.
