There are so many companies doing it right and dropping the antiquated and cruel methods of testing cosmetics on animals. They have developed alternative methods decades ago. The list is much longer for those who have stopped than the companies who refuse to stop (L'Oreal, Shiseido, etc). And, as far as the anti-PETA comments go, what a shame to knock an organization who stands up for the defenseless. Yes, they can get a bit extreme, but that's what they said of the hippie protesters that were responsible for getting us out of Vietnam. If it wasn't for strong-willed activists, we'd have our environment in a bigger mess (if that is possible) and we'd be standing at even more graves at Arlington.
Remember, we are talking about COSMETICS, not curing cancer. If you can see the pictures of cosmetics testing on poor defenseless creatures and not see how inhumane it is, then you need some serious introspection and examination of your basic humanity. Remember God made animals first....

I hate companies that test their products on animals. It is extreamly cruel to do that to those poor defenseless animals! I once visited a Peta seminar that shows this happening & have bought cruelty free products ever since!!

I think that we should lay low on the testing, but I am kinda going with 'proeater' . The world really uses too much of makeup anyway. I think that a reason we have animals such as frogs and rats is so they can help us create medications and create and invente new things. And to discover cures for diseses. Without animals, we wouldn't be where we are today. I do agree with you that we are using them TOO much, but come on.....just read what 'proeater' has to say.

i did a report on that!!! i am so totally against it. its really mean to kill all those animals a year just so people can have more products that we dont even need? wy dont those people do something useful and find a cure for cancer or something?

There is no point. It's hideously cruel. Arbonne products are 100% cruelty free with the PETA bunny to prove it.

people who use innocent animals to test out products should test the products on them selves, let them break out in a misterious rash. let them go blind from bad liquid eyeliner. Evil cosmetics companies. that is how i feel.

This is just my opinion people but seriously murder.... Animals are our inferioir. We dont try animals and give them a legal chance we just put them to sleep yet people like you are worried that animals are being unfairly treated..... theres not many things we can test on that arent animals that we've proven effective.... Would you rather have a dead animal and safe humans or test on a non effective specimen and have it go badly on a human......?
