brown or purple eyeshadow?

both look good on brunnets with brown eyes specially... but purple is FANTASTIC for brunnets because it REALLY brings out your eyes.. more than brown, because brown is more of a natural color, which is for a less dramatic look... unlike purple... which looks great and is an attention grabber.... blend well and your eyes will look amazing!!

I think that the best eyeshadow for brunnets is using a few shades of brown to create a smoky eye look. Either way make sure you use tones that go well with your skin tone also.

I'm a brunnet and I wear both. I favor plumb colors though for the purple shades.

Actually this is perfect.
I realized that you said for brunettes, meaning the hair, but Almay has a "bring out the brown" collection.

The makeup is originally intended to bring out brown eyes...but I'm sure it works correspondingly with hair!

Basically, the set includes brown eyeliners/darker shades of shadow/ and brown/topaz mascara.

This means, a that brown and purple enhance eachother very well, and use them together!

I wear both. It depends on what outfit I'm wearing and what particular look I'm going for. I wear brown on the days I want to be subtle and I wear purple when I really want my eyes to be noticeable.

purple eyeshadow is good because it brings out your eyes. brown is good as well though it's a natural colour. but with brown since its a neutral colour any eyeshadow colour would go perfectly well and it would accentuate your eyes beautifuly.

if your eyecolor is hazel or dark brown it would look great especially the purple the your fair then go light on the brown if your olive go bronze or as little darker brown
