I basically can not wear any earrings because my holes are stretched out. I might could possibly wear small studs but they would fall through the holes. I do not want to tear the holes completely out. I have read on the internet about adhesive stabilizers, like piercemate. I was just wondering if anyone has ever tried anything like this, and does it work? Or do you have any other suggestions?

Already tried leaving earrings out for a long time, and holes did not grow back any.
Surgery to fix this problem is way to expensive for me.

It depends on how large the holes are. But you need to be very careful how you treat your holes. I saw a documentary on tats and piercings. It said that the ear lobes have very little blood flow to them and they can become damaged and literally rot off. I saw them do plastic surgery on one woman to sew up the holes, which they said is basically the only chance you have of them getting much smaller, and one of her ears turned black and she lost the entire lobe. The other one healed fine. I hope you have good luck with yours.

I would stop wearing earrings for a while and see what happens. Most likely, they will shrink a little bit. If you will feel bare without earrings (because I know I would), Wear some clip on earrings or gody necklaces or shirts to take attention away from your ears.

Take the earrings out for a day or two and the holes should shrink some. And remember to stay away from thin hooks and take your posts out at night.

There is plastic surgery to repair the damage, but because it is cosmetic and not medical, it's not covered by insurance.
