its a clay mask that dries, then you wipe it off...it really burns when I first put it on then it die down as it dries. Is this what it' supposed to do?

I had a Laura Mercier Makeup Artist do it on me that way once... and it was the most beautifully subtle eyeliner experience I've ever had (my eyeliner experiences are always disastrous). Anyway, I was wondering if anyone does this on a regular basis? Would it be "safe" hygiene wise?

every time i wear eyeliner, within a few hours it smudges and even though i covered up my dark circles, it looks like i have them again! it's really annoying. i think my eyes water a bit and smudge it. can anyone reccomend a good brand for me?

i've practiced a LOT, and I've tried everything! Sharpening, getting a great magnified mirror, getting really close-up. i've tried 2 different kinds of eyeliner, including waterproof and a "softer" one. but it just looks fake, unnatural, there's inevitably a "gap" (although it's small, it's there) between the lashes and the liner. and when i look really closely, i can see that the liner is made of little separate pieces of color on the skin, rather than a smooth line! ughhhh

is that just how it's going to be? should i work on mineral eyeliner wet, or maybe liquid? i thought *those* would be harder, but this pencil stuff is really ridiculous! does *everyone* have a hard time with pencil (well, with eyeliner in general?), or is it just me? i don't see how people can get it to work for them on a daily basis if it's this frustrating...

When I apply eyeliner (pencil) on my bottom lid I always tear and I get this burning feeling that makes my eyes sleepy. After wearing it for a couple of hours my eyes also start to get red. Is there anyway for this not to happen?
