I just put a little bit of my foundation on my eyelids and then my eyeshadow. No creases and looks "freshly applied" all day
I don't have the dreaded eyeshadow creases anymore.
or...you can buy primer. That works really well too

I suffered with this for years, but now Urban Decay, my absolute FAVORITE high end makeup line, makes a product designed specifically for this. It's called Eyeshadow Primer Potion, and it looks like a concealer, but it's a little different. It creates a nice base coat on your eyelids that eyeshadows and liners cling to perfectly and never crease. It also gives your colors a nice boost, so they look a lot brighter.
I always forget to take off my makeup at night, and ever since I started using this product, I wake up looking like I just did my makeup. It's a nice feeling...lol

I had the same issue for years and nothing working, not any decrease stuff or anything that said crease proof. I found that L'Oreal Aqua Proof works great for me. I can use it as a base for loose powder or by itself since it is a shadow anyway. Only problem is finding it.......only place I have found it now is at Dollar Trees.

I think the type of eyeshadow which you are using is the cream-based type which normally will shows crease line on your eyelid. I suggest you to use those powder-based type. It's more easier to apply and looks more natural.

I would reccomend using a mineral based powder both under and over the eyeshadow. I had the same problem, but I use bareminerals by id, its worth the money!!!

two options.
you can either buy eye primer from MAC
or you can use cream shadow as base. apply them before you put on powder eyeshadow. that way it'll keep your make-up on longer

have your tried a loose powder on your eye lid? apply the powder, then the eye shadow. The powder will help to keep off the oil from your lid.

mac has an amazing eye shadow base that keeps your shadow colors truer.
also, use powder shadows, not the cream ones.
