Makeup - September 2006

Narrowed it down to those two. They're both two-step mascaras and I am unsure of which one to buy... I want the longest most volumized lashes out of one of those, so if you had to choose which one do you think is better? And if there is another mascara that is better than those two (NOT Great Lash), please feel free to share.

My friend's little sister is 13 going on 14 and here mom won't let her wear eyeshadow or eyeliner. she's not one of those freaks who would put on about an inch of black eyeliner or really bright colors of eyeshadow. Do you think she's old enough to wear make up or not?

During the summer I wear no make-up base, only powder, and don't get spots but when I start wearing make-up again in winter I start getting them, even though I cleanse very thoroughly. I feel mature skins should be protected by a moisturising make-up in winter, not to mention looking better. Any recommendations please?

hey if you were stoned and i was stoned( um hey i think i am stoned man, wooo) um but yeah ok like if i was so high i was going to sky dive and i was sky diving at an hieght of 100,000 feet ok i wiegh 190 at 5'9" and i had a pound of the finest green on me and a bong with a 20 oz of water for my smooth smoking pleasure, k and i smoked a blunts and a few ripps off the bong and had a cig and smoked a fat a$$ doobie then jumped off the plane and was fallling what would be my terminial volocity( yeah how fast could i fall stoned, would the speed vary because of my ripped ness or would my bad spell be the death of me, maybe it could be but for now class lets stick to the question.)? would the weed make a difference in th lightness in my head? they call it bieng high right? why do we call it tht? will any one come sky dive with me? will you hit the bong first? dude i am so freakin stoned!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I keep reading this all over the makeup section of Yahoo Answers... and it seems like people always mean different things when they say it.

Besides the general idea that makeup can "clog pores," and besides the physical tugging "damage" you might to do your face while removing it -- Is there any type of actual *damage* that makeup can do to skin?

Whenever i wear a lot of make up it feels like guys are more attracted to me but then they say like guys don't like girls who wear make up or a lot of make up so i'm confused.

I'm not talking about from anyone's point of view; I mean your own. After all, people should wear make-up however they feel.

My blunder is this: I have a make-up bag for all my make-up, then I use a spare purse for when I want to take make-up with me. I wanted my white eyeshadow, the powder version, for my Wednesday date. I could not find it. I took my duo Rimmel eyeshadow, yellow & white. Well, the "white" turned out to be a lighter shade of yellow, and it was sparkly. I decided to just wear it anyway. I do like yellow, but not one of my first picks when I want to look especially attractive. Luckily, my boyfriend still thought I was cute. But I do look better in white.
Also, I need to invest in a make-up mirror. I been wanting one for awhile. In my washroom, I look one way, just for the make-up be more pronounced in a brighter artificial light. Maybe when I put it on in the daytime, I'll use sunlight and apply make-up outside. I sometimes overdo it on red blush.

I always use a bronzer, but I am looking for a concealer/foudnation that actually does what it says. I do ahve clear skin, but it is no where near perfect. My cheeks are usually pink, and my skintone just isnt even. heading to the make-up store tomorrow.. any suggestions??
p.s. - i have ehard bare minerals, but i know they are pricey, but it's ok. I have tried the basic nutregena where it is levels for neutral/warm/ etc. but wondering what some of you think.

I can't seem to find a massacra that actually will lengthen and curl. I've tried Rimmel, I think L'Oreal(the XL/XXL one), right now I am using Ulta. Any suggestions? I have blue eyes, and longer eyelashes make them pop.

I have the smallest, lightest coloured eyelashes and I would like them to look fake without wearing false eyelashes.

I don't mind paying $30 for a tube.

I have been using Dior Diorshow. I find that it is really great for a week or 2 and then it gets clumpy.

I have also used Lancome Hypnose. I like this one as well because you can layer it easily.

I tried MAC and found it too weak a product.

Anything else I should try?
