During the summer I wear no make-up base, only powder, and don't get spots but when I start wearing make-up again in winter I start getting them, even though I cleanse very thoroughly. I feel mature skins should be protected by a moisturising make-up in winter, not to mention looking better. Any recommendations please?

Check out Bare Minerals. It doesn't clog your pores, has an SPF 15 and you control the coverage. I would find a good moisturizer for the fall and winter, and you should be able to wear whatever foundation you want.
If you're near either a Bare Escentuals boutique or Sephora store stop in and check it out.

I Started using Bare Minerals this past year and I love it.I never use to wear much make up because it felt heavy and clogged my pores. But with Bare Minerals I don't find that to be a problem. It is very easy to use and feels great on your skin. They have alot of different things in there line from skin care to make-up.Give it a try,you may like it!
I usually buy mine from QVC,but I know you can buy it at sephora.

Use an oil-free non-petroleum moisturizer by GlyDerm. Hydrotone Lite.

I like Illuminare concealer and order that online. I had a free sample and I like it - it's creamy and has excellent coverage.

Then use Jane Iredale mineral makeup & apply with a brush.
I got a free consult at a plastic surgeons office and they applied it before I bought it. The consult was free.

You can buy those brands online, I order all the time and it comes right to my door.

as a make up artist alls i can prescribe is a good face cream as a base and a tinted oil free moisturiser.you can get a good one from the body shop. its good to spend on a good moisturiser as this will complement the skin.and a tinted moisturiser will give coverage and control shine but is not too heavy as some can be.this also means your face will be getting a huge drink.

Clarins..super restorative day cream. It is expensive £58 for large jar but I shall be buying another when this one runs out. Thats the test whether you repeat-buy. It lasts about 5 months. I've even tried Creme de la Mer but Clarins is better, not tested on animals and made from plant extracts. You will not regret it.

The word Virgin is incredibly deceptive and there are different justifications for it. in case you have by no ability penetrated a vagina, then specific, you're a virgin. in case you have had oral intercourse with somebody, and not penetrated a vagina, then specific...you're a virgin. If somebody has sucked you and that they have got some style of herpes, then specific...you would be able to desire to nonetheless be a virgin and function herpes on your penis. like the others have mentioned...get it checked. do no longer elect to unfold some thing to a different guy or woman.

I like Olay Complete - in also has uv protection, so I use it under powder or whatever, even in the summer. It has no colour, but is moisurizing, and the make up goes on more easily.

Dermalogica.
Its light, moisturising with SPF. Its the only foundation I've found that lets my skin breath. They sell it at a lot of beauticians.
