I think that's perfectly fine, you are right, being a guy doesn't mean you shouldn't take care of yourself. If you have problem skin there are many good products out there guys can use as well. And I don't think its gay at all. Just keep it minimal - that go3es for some girls too!!!

And do you really think foundation is going to fix your skin AND your self-esteem problem about it? lol. Please, stop this joke!
What I mean is, foundation is a total trick. You feel the need to use it, you do on a regular basis, you then have the pressure of continuing to use it to look good, you're trapped and therefore end up with a terrible skin in the end! So, just to say, hiding you and your blemishes aren't going to help anything, buddy!
Now, to answer your main question about guys and makeup, no way. "No" for the above that I already said and for the reason that makeup is for the female sex. No offense, but guys who have to start acting like the ridiculous girls who are already brain-dead enough to put a cake of makeup to look better (which will make them look worse, on the contrary, though) are certainly gay or truly need to rethink on what/who they need to follow; following the stupid thing that already so many girls have done is NOT right! Goodness, no... please, boys, don't fall under the trap now. Guys just keep shaving and brushing your hair and taking regular showers! Period.
Thanks for reading and hope I answered you! =)
P.S. Sorry, I know I was a little long, but seriously... I had to say all of that!

sure its ok, i mean look at all those male singers who's white but has black hair and tons of black eyeliner. but i think thats a little overboard if ur not performing. anyways, foundation is ok,but DO NOT cake on ur face or put too much or else it'll look, TOO perfect and others will know for sure. but the best ways are still to actually wash ur face (try neutogena deep clean).

sorry, but i'm gonna be straight here (no pun intended) - it's just gross. makeup was meant for girls. if you're self-concious about your skin, get into a cleansing routine - there are lots of good ones out there meant just for guys.

Sure it's OK. Just carry the stuff in your purse like the rest of the girls. Here's a tidbit for you, The only time MEN care about their skin is when it's bleeding.

um i wouldn't personally say go for it...but if ur self concious about ur skin get like proactive or something...instead of wearing makeup maybe. see now some girls would think that a guy wearing makeup is worse then a guy without perfect skin...so weigh ur odds their buddy and do wat feels right

I think it'd be okay to do a little touching up, but I would not be crazy about a guy with foundation, powder and black eyeliner. Not for me.

I work in television and know many many men who wear makeup. I have no problem with it--if it makes you more confident and it looks natural, go for it. You'd be surprised by just how many men have had to wear it at one time or another!!!

I like to point out that the guys on the magazine covers are generally all wearing makeup... coz they're ACTORS! Everyones like "oooh sexiest man alive" and he's in makeup, duh people. Of course he looks good...
But outside of that, and actual stage/TV/movie performance, I would say no, unless you hang with a really creative and interesting bunch of friends.
