I always use a bronzer, but I am looking for a concealer/foudnation that actually does what it says. I do ahve clear skin, but it is no where near perfect. My cheeks are usually pink, and my skintone just isnt even. heading to the make-up store tomorrow.. any suggestions??
p.s. - i have ehard bare minerals, but i know they are pricey, but it's ok. I have tried the basic nutregena where it is levels for neutral/warm/ etc. but wondering what some of you think.

I'm not a fan of Bare Escentuals or any other mineral powder foundation. They're messy and actually work & look natural on very few people! A tinted moisturizer might work well for you. Laura Mercier has a great one, and Neutrogena's Healthy Skin Enhancer is as well formulated (or better) than anything at the department store.

Tinted moisturizers will help even out your skin tone and will probably be perfect for what you want. You can then use a concealer on the little imperfections but not for an area as large as your cheeks. Concealers are generally used for spot coverage. Foundation is heavier than a tinted moisturizer and if you are not used to that it can feel like a bit heavy. Good luck.

bare escentuals is good and it lasts a long time. Arbonne just came out with a similar product and I believe you get more for the $$.
If you are looking for a foundation I'd suggest the mineral makeups. If you are looking for a concealer only you might check out the MAC counter; theirs lasts FOREVER, you only use a bit. I also think their powder rocks. It's light, has great coverage and also lasts a long time as long as you don't drop it. I use it if I'm going out at the end of the day to refresh my make up and it works great.

I like the Physician's Formula foundation. I no longer have pimples but I have pink and blotchy skin and Physician's Formula evens it out without looking like I'm wearing make-up. It's my favorite so far.

I was ordering off a website and got a free sample of Illuminare.
I use the one in the turquoise tube, I love it, it - creamy yet covers great. I will be ordering some of it soon after the sample runs out.

M.A.C is THE best.....try M.A.C's Studio Fix...its dry like a powder but you use a wet sponge. The damper the sponge , the more coverage. And its flawless without looking cakey. Its about $24.50 but WORTH it and last a good while. Check their website...www.maccosmetics.com.

I like clinique's foundation, its kind of expensive, but it lasts A LONG LONG TIME, and it works really good. also, its light, and doesnt make your skin feel all icky, and doesnt clog pores. Another thing i like about it is that they have a bunch of different like...colors,and tones, so that like everyone can find one that looks natural.
Good Luck!
