Tip: If you have pretty skin don't wear foundation, it only clogs up your pores.

Eyes: try the smokey look with blue and gray eyeliner, Apply blue on the top and bottom, then apply gray on top and bottom also, then run your finger along the eyeliner smuging it a little. top it off with mascara and a eyeshadow of your choice, (usually blue) Perfecto!

Don't use a ton of face make-up...it clogs your pores and if you don't put it on properly, it can look like your wearing a mask. Just stick to a little foundation to even out your skin tone, or some concealer to cover specific spots (you probably don't need face-make-up anyway). If you put dramatic eye or lip color on, it takes the attention off your skin, and makes people focus on your eyes or mouth. For eyes, don't go too dark. With brown hair and eyes, dark eyeshadow can be too much. Try using a neutral eyeshadow that is similar to your skin color. Then, if you want, you can use another shadow that's a few shades darker, and lightly smudge it into your lashline and crease using an eyeliner brush or Q-tip, and blend. Use some dark mascara, shiny lipgloss, ans you're set. You can try using blush, but only use a little bit. Smile, and apply it to the apples of your cheeks, and gently sweep up towards your ears. Sweep only a little on- you don't want to look like a clown, and you can always add more. Put on a confident smile, and your man won't be able to take his hands off you! Good luck!

Almay has a line out that is made for make-up newbies.Everything is grouped based on eye color. They pick the shadows to make your eye color pop and have lipsticks and foundations as well. Can find them at all drugstores and target, walmart ect.Go easy at first and make adjustments for night/day wear.Less is always best.If you dont have oily skin you can add a drop of moisurizer to your foundation and apply with a makeup sponge. This not only helps your skin look dewy, but lessens the mask look of some foundations. Good luck and smile! No matter what the makeup you cant go wrong with that.

Wear bronze eyeshadow with a bit of it rubbed in ur cheeks for a smooth summery look, make sure it's even though. Use some brown eyeliner so it's not too harsh and some M.A.C Lipgloss would be perfect. Try finding a really glossy one with just a hint of pink.

less is more!!!! i also have brown hair, and eyes,
the most important feature you want to enhance is your eyes!!!!!!! start out with just avery small amount of foundation, if your face isn't glossy, them do not put any powder on it!!! justput blush on your checkbones, alittle on your forhead, and a little on your chin. then use meduim brown eyeshadow.
the trick tothisisget some eyeliner pencil medium brown then use it to enhance your eyeshadow. put light brown on the bottom, use thepencil to draw a
line from your inner eye to your outer eye, then use the medium brown eyeshadow over where you usedthe pencil. then use the pencil to outline your eyes, lightly. then comesthe(alway's black) mascarea
lastbut not least lip pencil, and just use a little gloss and you look perfect!!!!! i promise, try it
i bet you'll love it!!!!!!!! tyaonmy@yahoo.com

remember - less is more - especially if you don't usually wear make-up. You want to enhance your assests, not look like a whore or a clown. Be subtle, use tones that match your skin and eyes. And smile, not just with your mouth but with your eyes - that makes more of an impression that a bunch of garish make-up that's not you.

Just a hint, most guys don't like a lot of makeup. The dress and the hair is how you do it, not lots of makeup. Just a pointer from a dude.

If you don't wear make up often I would suggest going to the make up counters at the departmartment stores. You can get your make up done for free and you're not obligated to buy.

Your best bet is to go into Macy's or Gottschalk's and have one of the make-up consultants work their magic on you and suggest exactly what type of products would work best for your skin type and facial features. Have fun on your date.

I, personally, don't like makeup. My fiance is pretty makeup crazy, and I always tell her "look, I fell in love with you, not with all of the crazy makeup products on your face."

I think most guys will say the same.
