Makeup - August 2006

I have bright red hair, I'm incredibly pale and freckled, and have blue eyes. I'm also 5'9" and 140 pounds. I'm not sure if that helps, but I certainly need some help. I've been trying for years to find makeup that doesn't make me look whorish, and with picture day coming up, I'm nervous. Even brown mascara looks bad on me, so I have to stick to clear mascara, but nobody can see my eyes because of it. When I try to use liner, I just can't. It always looks to dark, and it smudges. So, please, if there are any redheads out there that know how to put on makeup so that I won't look like a freak, please help me out.

*any other tips?

How to make me look more photogenic with makeup.
I'm not photogenic at all.
I'm chinese, my black eyes are uneven and have minimum makeup kit.
My face is oval-shaped and I don't wear spectacles.

It's one time shot, I won't be able to talk to the photographer. It's a group photo that I will have to show the colleges that I want to be admitted into.

I say it's odd because I hardly see a person with my coloring/features.

I have light, but not fair, skin with red undertones, my eyes are very light blue with hints of light green and a dark blue ring around the iris, and my hair is light golden brown which turns an auburn/orange light brown color from the sun.

What would you suggest for any make-up to go with my coloring? I've tried all black, black and gray, black and brown, black and purple, green, green and purple...just about everything, but it never looks good.

(A side note, my cheeks are rosey and I have dark brown lashes, and freckles on my cheeks.)

I cant help to pile on the make-up if my boyfriend comes to the house or if I have to see him for 5 minutes.I know I have natural beauty but I jus cant help it.He has made some small comments and jokes like last night on the phone he goes do u were make up to be and awhle ago he asked my friend why do I were so much makeup and also he like talking about my long weave he like its like a white girl hair and he saying Im trying to be white. last night on the phone about the makeup he was trying to say I think that the makeup I use on my face is to white.But I said that we need to disgust this the next time I see him so how do I apply make up to look more natural I have dark skin close to Kelly Rowland.

Revelon used to carry it but I've checked everywhere. Dermablend is a good makeup but too expensive. I've got a family gathering ayt the end of the month and I'd like to look my best.
