Makeup: Asian skin tends to be smooth and poreless with yellow undertones.
Foundation should have yellow tones in it. Try mixing a yellow tint foundation with a shade to get the color that works best with your skin. Blues, reds and purples look beautiful on Asian skin.
Trimming your eye brows with scissors rather than plucking is better. Eyebrows should be defined and darkened with a brow pencil.
Lashes, which tend to be short or straight, should be curled with an eyelash curler. Go exotic with the hair. Cut it in an interesting and provocative way. Try coloring it. This softens the look and the hair. Forget the processing, it gives too much volume.
Asian eyes need definition. Line the upper and the lower lids and smudge. This opens up and draws attention to them. Shadow colors should be cool grays, and sheer pale shades.
Plums with brown, red or mauve undertones work beautifully for lips. Sheer pinks are right if skin tone is pale. Earth tones corals work well and, of course, a rich, bright red is right when glamour is the top priority. Generally, these shades work well for Asian skin types: Sheer, beiges, pinks, plums, brown plums, bright reds, deep reds, pink mauves, mauves. Avoid strong pinks and oranges on the lips - they make you look hard. Light brown will make the skin look muddy.
Lipshades that look great with Asian coloring: Porsche Red, Rapture, Hocus Pocus, Rouge, Diva, Madness, Vamp, Quartz, Misty Mauve, Silk, Infinity, Devotion, Mulberry.
Emphasize cheeks by placing your color very high, right on top of the cheek pillows. A blush of dusty pink or plum on the cheeks will brighten the complexion.

I'd say that it depends on the shade of asian. There's all kinds, ya? If your skin is yellowish based and a bit of color or more then i'd say all you need is mascara, and some highlighterish sheer colors, nudes even, as long as they're sheer, to highlight your eyes and cheekbones and a light color on the lip, or dark, depending on the time of day and what you're wearing...but make sure the colors are what, not blue based, i think. i may be completely wrong. i'm so fair skinned i'm transparent, but not the porcelain skin everyone wants, and i'm better with blue based colors and sheer colors seem to work for everyone as long as they aren't garish in the first place. just avoid overkill, whatever you do. sorry for the shoddy advice, i did try!!!!!

Curl your eyelashes, use black mascara, and put liquid eyeliner on the top lids. Use like a goldish brown eyeshadow. White eyeshadow in the inner corners of your eyes.

For myself I love to onli use eyelinder to define my eyes & made them look bigger, doll like eyes.
If ya are fair, any color will look nice on ya except for black smoky eyeshadow color cause it will make ya look ghosty...
If ya have dark skin tone - good recommendation to use orange color busher & brownish - golden eye shadow colour to make ya eyes stand out.
