Eau de Toilette is a perfume that is less concentrated then Eau de Parfum (the strongest). I perfer the Eau de Toilette of really strong perfume scents.

It's a kind of perfume, it isn't as strong as a perfume, so it's for everyday...
It may be for men or woman, It has to be write in the box of the perfume... so, if it's written in french you will read "eau de toilette pour homme" if it is for men or "eau de toilette pour femme" if it's for women...

I think for animals, in pet shops you may find some specific for them, because the "eau de toilette" is made with alcohol and if the pet licks himself, it will not feel well.

The percent of perfume oil by volume in a perfume is listed as follows:

* Perfume extract: 20%-40% aromatic compounds
* Eau de parfum: 10-30% aromatic compounds
* Eau de toilette: 5-20% aromatic compounds
* Eau de cologne: 2-3% aromatic compounds

As the percentage of aromatic compounds decreases, the intensity and longevity of the scent decrease. It should be noted that different perfumeries or perfume houses assign different amounts of oils to each of their perfumes. As such, although the oil concentration of a perfume in eau de parfum (EDP) dilution will necessarily be higher than the same perfume in eau de toilette (EDT) form, the same trends may not necessarily apply to different perfume compositions much less across different perfume houses.

It's perfume. When you read a bottle, it will say cologne or eu de toilette. I don't recommend using it on animals. The difference is the concentration of scent.

Eau de toilette has around 1-6% perfume concentrates.. in other words it is very watered down perfume. Generally it is sold for women.

It is the weakest preparation of a perfume, and usually cheaper. Eau-de-parfum has a stronger concentration of the perfumes and will last longer. All perfumes, as far as I am aware, are described as either eau-de-toilette or eau-de-parfum. Men and women's.

Don't know about using it on your pet pooch though!!

Eu De toilette has a higher alcohol content than parfum (perfume). It is usually much cheaper and sold in a larger container. They do make ***** cologne, which is better for them. if you use people cologne use it very sparingly.

It is a type of perfume. It use less fragrant oil than real perfume and is less exspensive. Mostly ot os for women. I guess if you wanted your dog to smell noice you put a tiny bit on his fur. But I don't think I would recommend that.
