Brown eyes look great with green and light blue...and try a brown eyeliner to lighten your eyes up...a wonderful lipstick is gold and shimmering pinks...browns go with pink, green, blue and lighter shade of brown and peach. Go with a nice roseblossom color on the cheeks and a light concealer above your eye and use a brown eyeliner and green or gold eyeshadow just above the lid with a light brown lipliner and fill in with cotton candy pink and smudge...
If you really want for night try a shimmering aqua blue and a clear lip gloss...with a the roseblosssom cheeks.

I would say either keep the black eye liner or go for med. to dark brown. brown eyeliners give a more natural look . and as for lipstick I"ve always hated red lipstick on anyone. I think subtle pinks with a gloss is the best way to go.

You might try a bronze eyeliner, with a light colored shadow, a thin line near the inner eyelid and a little thicker toward the outer eyelid. I use a little bit of moisturizer and BareEsensuals mineral powder. They are very good, come in many foundation colors, including a pretty pink with a tiny bit of sparkle in in for a blusher. These don't clog your pores and look very natural, not like liquid make up. They also make some pretty eyeshadow colors, and you can combine different powders for more colors. For lipstick, it would probably be best to choose a light, somewhat natural shade. However, you might try out a brighter red, to see how it looks, especially after you change your liner and shadow and foundation colors. If you apply a white shadow to your outer top eyelid, it will make your eyes appear larger, and make your shadow look prettier. Just be sure to blend the white in good so it doesn't stick out.

Try a different color liner, or use a pretty eyeshadow as liner. Mix it up.
I have brown eyes and I use all sorts of colors as liners -
purple, navy, green, silver, black..etc.
Also if you do dark eyes, you should do light lipstick
and vice versa.
I have the same coloring and some of my favorite lipsticks are:
Clinique Black Honey (a sheer dark red almost lipstick)
Lacome Juicy Tubes
Origins Rain and Shine Brilliant Bronze (nude shimmery pink) plus it has the added bonus of smelling like peppermint.

Lose the black eyeliner. It looks too harsh. Try a smokey taupe, brown or even a green. Neutral lipstick with a little gloss always looks good.

i've got a gorgeous dark green eyeliner from bourjois. it's got a v slight sparkle to it - i've got blue eyes but it would be great with brown eyes. i think jet black can be too harsh sometimes...
to complement this i sometimes use a little sparkly green eyeshadow - ruby and millie do one which lasts ages - i use a tiny bit at the outside corner of my eyes - for a bit of glam.
i find lipstick a nightmare too - i just go for nude tones - anything too strong makes me look pasty - theres a lovely shade called "rose des bois" made by darphin. its a very non sticky gloss - a staple... nice!
another thing i love is a spot of blusher - makes me look healthy!
experiment!! lx

i started out with same prob like yours :) have yet to kick the habit of not wearing my eyeliner yet LOL but i applied it with more precise lines near lash line making it more neutral and choosing a shade thats more subtle :)
Its nice to have brown eyes you know? Yellow or goldish brownish or bronzy colours is great. Im like you are being described brown eyes etc...try it gurl...you will get lotsa attention with it.
Here's the look
Eyeshadow - check out the link below for the kind of colours (shimmer waves) u dun have to get the exact brand juz the kinda colours :) use individual colours and u know what can use as a highlighter and even blusher. A handy compact.
Eyeline with bobbi brown gel eye liner in sepia ink for subtle and natural. Apply near lash line, use Loreal mascara in black for dramatic eyes or brown for more subtle. Then use soft peach for your checks. Just a tint will do. Coral lip gloss perks up the whole look. Youthful and not overdone :)

well if you should probably use a lipstick that isn't to bright like a light pink or dark brown but not bright red unless you have light brown hair...for eyeshadow I would go with a natural color like I do...and eyeliner is good just not too much so you should keep it and don't forget mascara

I have the same issue like urs.
What I did for a change I kept on putting black eye liner
but I putted eyeshadow depending what I wear,
and the same lip gloss color, or u can just put gloss
that's what I do now!
And I bought liquid eyeliner they come in colors
so I put the liquid eyeliner top of my eyes just a line and black eyeliner in my eyes, its so sexy!
