Sometimes it's so bad that these women go around looking suprised all the time. What's with that????

There is a few reasons actually. There are some women who are sick of eyebrow waxing and tweezing. So they get their eyebrows removed with laser and afterwards they get them tattooed. That way they never ever have to worry about waxing or tweezing for the rest of their lives. It's one less thing to worry about, I guess. There are also people diagnosed with cancer who are unfortunately victims of hair loss, I know of a lady who was diagnosed, she lost all her hair on her head and eyebrows, her hair grew back out but eyebrows didn't. I am hoping these two are the only reasons why. I don't know why anybody would want to do such a thing for another reason.

Really good question. I myself, dont know! Tonight I was at the store and the lady helping me had shaved off her own eyebrows and I swear to you she drew on checks. No joke. She had 2 checks on her forehead. It looked ridiculous. Some women can pull it off though. I guess its just all about preference. I guess some guys like it.
I think it would be weird waking up in the morning without any eyebrows. And ewww, what about when they start to get prickly from growing back. Thats disgusting!

That was really popular back in the 80s and 90s when the "chola" style was in. People still do shave off their brows and draw them on. I remember when I was in 6th grade there were a handful of girls who did that, and that was probably like in 2000. It's gross because now their eyes aren't protected from the sweat from their foreheads!

They probably messed up their eyebrows by plucking and waxings so much that they won't grow back so instead of having no eyebrows they try to draw them in.

If you have a thyroid condition about 1/2 of your eyebrows come off, and then it makes sense to start over.

cuz theyre weird, or something. its a mystery to me too, and i'm a girl. i'd wax my brows so i dont have a unibrow, but i wouldnt ever shave them all off. im as confused as you are xP

lol cause they are old and they didnt have much hair there in the first place. They think it makes them look younger they only don't realize that they don't look real at all.

no sometimes women pluck there eyebrows too much or over do them where hair is rare on there eyebrows. so they gotta pencil it. lol i think.
