I cant help to pile on the make-up if my boyfriend comes to the house or if I have to see him for 5 minutes.I know I have natural beauty but I jus cant help it.He has made some small comments and jokes like last night on the phone he goes do u were make up to be and awhle ago he asked my friend why do I were so much makeup and also he like talking about my long weave he like its like a white girl hair and he saying Im trying to be white. last night on the phone about the makeup he was trying to say I think that the makeup I use on my face is to white.But I said that we need to disgust this the next time I see him so how do I apply make up to look more natural I have dark skin close to Kelly Rowland.

My girlfriend is the opposite-if I visit her she takes her makeup off cos she doesnt want me to like it! But when we go out she cakes it on! I suggest if he complains just put on more! Its not about race its about face! Did you look like a goth with white makeup? Or a geisha? White girls put on dark makeup to look black! This is ridiculous do what you like! Dont look more natural wear thick thick makeup any color lots of lipgloss! I wish my gf pile on makei\up 4 me!

Make-up is made to enhance your natural beauty and not to make you look white; which really shouldn't matter to you, there is nothing wrong with having dark skin...there is beauty in every skin color. With make-up, a little goes a long way. Pick your favorite facial attributes (eyes, lips, nose, etc) and use make-up to bring out those features...don't use it to hide anything but make the better features stand out so much that the less liked features aren't noticed.
I would recommend going into a department store and have one of the free make-up consults, don't buy anything from the department store but make note of what works for you and your skin tone; then you can go to a less expensive store any buy the correct make-up and use the correct technique you were taught at the department store. You need to buy a color of make-up that matches your neck. If you get it too light, you'll look sickly and washed out. Or gothic. Try applying a very thin layer. Or, if you have a nice complexion, just buy a tinted moisturizer and skip the foundation. But on the other hand, don't change yourself for a guy. Be yourself and find someone who will be okay with you being you.

i'd love to be black like kelly rowland! you must accept the way you are don't try to be white michael jackson did this and look at him now! be u and all the people will like u. just use some lipgloss eyeliner, eyeshadow, some blush an it will be ok . but all the colors 2 be natural!!! hope this help to find your natural beauty

well... first of all... ur boyfriend sounds kinda rude... no offense! he shouldnt be sayin those rude things about u to ur face or behind ur back on top of that! But try different shades and see what u come up with! the trick is to apply less make up. the less there is... the more natural it looks!

you know that your skin color is beautiful? and you could enhance it with minimal make up....i know that you'll be a lot prettier even if i cant see you right now...just try one step at a time to remove to much make up coz its kinda a habit wearing make up on, and having no make up feels like you're naked....just one step at a time :)
