Hair - October 2007

I have long hair and am wanting to learn to put my hair in a french braid myself but don't know where to start. Are there any links that I can get on that can help me step-by-step? I have always wanted to learn to do a french braid. Thanks for everyone's help.

I have permed hair and today, I had my hair colored in a salon.
Because the stylist blowdried my hair, it became straight. I have to go somewhere tomorrow so I want to wash my hair to get back my curls again.

The question is, is it ok to wash my hair tomorrow and shampoo it? Or can I just wet my hair with water? I'm afraid that if I wash my hair, the color will fade out. I hope you guys can help me. :)

My younger brother is dressing up as a "Prom Queen" for a Halloween party and I'm meant to be helping him. I'm looking for ideas of what I could do with his hair.... it's about 5-6 inches long which gives me something to work with. Any ideas of what I could do with his real hair, or should I just get a wig from Walmart?

My bangs are to my nose. and I've had it to past my chin before but for some reason my parents wont let me grow it too far from what it is now.
And I don't really wany it too long...just to around where it was. about 7 inches..which is kinda between my mouth and chin.
I'm a boy..otherwise I probably wouldn't be having this problem. I'm 14 and about to be 15.

I'm getting a perm in a couple weeks and I'm not sure if I should get a spiral or wavy one. I have hair that is a little longer than shoulder length, so not too long and not short either. I'm 23 so I want something that will let me look my age and not like a 10 year old. I was leaning towards wavy but then again, I like a little more curl too, just not sure I want tight ringlets. and i dont know what to do, i like my length, almost to the shoulder, but my bangs (if u can even call them that) i have a cowlick- when my hair isnt totally flat it like pops up in the front and my bangs are all misshapen and kinda to the side, i dont know what to tell her to do with them. i dont know if i should just get them cut rgular again, or what do u have any ideas

i use a shampoo called organix soft and silky its supposed to make your hair smooth and silky but lately its been really dry and i use a deep conditioner its tresemme butwen i wash my hair it feels soft in the shower but wen it dries it feels dry. help. i would like some home remediess like oil treatments etc.
