Hi Everyone, I have once again gotten telegen effluvium (temp hair loss). The hairloss has calmed down and I notice little hairs popping up everywhere. I have an appointment next week to get my roots highlighted...believe me I need it...my dark hair looks bad against blond highlights...only wondering if it will affect my hair to grow back...dont have insurance to see a doc..would appreciate all answers!!!

I've died my hair before, but never 2 colours on my own. I dont have the money to goto the hair dressers. Anyways.. I want to dye my hair somewhat a brown color, and have blonde (very light blonde) spots. I was told you couldnt bleach dyed hair. So how would i do this? Would i put foil on the pieces i dont want blonde, dye it all brown. then put the bleach where the foil was?

my hair used to be really thick and frizzy and curly and in the past year its' gotten thinner, not sickly thin, but thinner, and a lot of my hair on the top of my head are really short. its down to my shoulders, but idk why a lot of them are so short and why its gotten so much thinner. my hair dresser even noticed. its easier to manage but i just want to know why. it's still pretty frizzy, but not as bad. but its so much thinner and it sorta freaks me out.
and no its not fried. i straighten my hair at the most once a week, and i didn't all summer. it's just usually up in a sloppy bun.

I've been reading all of the suggestions about using color depositing shampoos to keep the redish-brown colors from fading out. Many have also suggested that it also helps to re-touch the color every 4 - 6 weeks. But for many of us we put one color on our whole head and then we go to a salon to add streaks & highlights, using bleach to add depth and softness around the face. So, that makes it impossible for us to use color depositing shampoos because that gets onto the blond too & ruins it, & it gets too damaging & expensive to have to re-do the streaks after each new dye job if we were to do that every 4 - 6 weeks to keep our main color fresh. Streaks can last 4 months without needing to be redone, but the red fades faster, leaving us in need of doing more to our hair that can ruin the streaks. Isn't there just a way to SEAL it ALL in for at least 3 or 4 months? What seals the shaft & locks the color in most of all, without having to re-do the color or use color deposit shampoo

I really want to have a new hairstyle. My hair is kinda typical and I want to stand out!
Its veeery thick. I have dark brown hair and dark brown eyes.
I like to have this rock-ish look. Shaggy long hair or something... and not so thick hair.

I am having a crisis, of some sort. i wanna look my best all the time, but i dont know how.
