Well, in my opinion brown is the most common hair colour i've ever seen. And if you wan't to change it, that's ok- but you have to make sure the colour goes with your skin tone. Go to your hairdresser and ask what colour she thinks would look best on you, and then ask her to dye it that colour. Or, if your pretty sure about a certain colour you wan't, then dye it yourself. But get some opinions first on what colours would look best on you. Good colours to dye hair to are...
Blonde
Dark brown
Dark Red
Black
Or, for something more simple highlight it.

Well, it depends on your skin tone. if you have a very pale face, you could do with a lighter colour, such as blond, lighter brown or even red! i you have darker skin, you can go with a darker colour, like a dark brown or black.
if your changing your colour at the hair dresser, he or she will be able to help you with that.
If your buying the product at the pharmacy, ask the person that works there, they usually know now their stuff over there.
PS. Get informed, cuz the colour on the box is not always the colour that will turn out on your hair, believe me, i know :P

There is no dominant color for me. What you really want is a color that compliments your eyes and your face shape. But I really suggest not changing you hair. it's never the same after that..your natural color is best. What you need to do, is just ask a stylist for a hair cut that suits your face (a good stylist) then look up the colors of clothes that match your hair and eyes and you're all set. :3

Black is the both the most common and best hair colour but not all light skin types (which I assume you have) can pull it off. Just leave it natural and don't torture your hair with dye & products...

Well every idiot wants blonde, red is the most uncommon, since you have light brown hair i think you should put light red highlights in it or a strawberry blonde!

I love red hair with alot of highlights. To me, there is nothing prettier than a red head.
