Hair - October 2007

I'm 14 years old and a few nights ago I found another grey hair. It isn't the first one I've found (Probably the 8th...) and I have a feeling it won't be the last.
What's happening to me?
My mum is 50 years old and she's never had a grey hair in her life.
My friend said I'd be fully grey by the time I turn 30, is this true?
Why is it happening so young and what can I do to stop it!?

My hair is naturally light brown and i got blonde highlights but, i want my hair its natural color but i dont want to wait for my highlights to grow out and i dont want to dye it. i was wondering if there was a natural way to get it back or to make it darker but, if there isnt a way to get it lighter without more highlights and without the sun because it isn't sunny anymore in boston. thanks.

I like short hair, my hair gets stringy looking if it gets too long. I'm not asking b/c I care what people think of me ( I know what I am). I am just curious as to what people assume about others.

I have had a few answers back and they are good answers except the solutions seemed to be lemon juice or clarifying shampoo. The downfall with these products are they will dry the hair out. Even tho i hate the colour, the dye did make my hair really shiny. I would like to keep the shine if i can. probably too much to ask but someone out there might know of a solution. Heres hoping!!

Ok, everybody knows that drinking lots of water is good for your hair. But, I have a question. When your drink water does it go through and help all of your hair, even the hair thats already grown out, or does it just help your roots?

so i cut my hair again. which is like the third time in 3 years i'm just really trying to prevent it from being damaged again. my hair is natural and short but i believe if i would have stuck to the dread lock twist i had last year my hair would not be in this situation.....the thing is i'm not comfortable with short hair so as soon as it starts growing i start getting it braided and then something fu*ks it up. what else could i do along with the twist so that it grows quicker....i'm gonna have to be back in them again(not what i have in mind) short hair fits me but i never feel comfortable wtih it though. i always want to find a way to get my hair done differently and that is y now i wish i would have stuck it out so my hair wouldn't be gone now.....any ideas on what i could do to this natural hair of mine so that it stays healthy and grow.

I just highlighted my hair on Tuesday of last week. I really wanted to go blonde but did the highlights first so it wasn't such a shock...I have medium brown hair. Now, I am dead set on going BLONDE!!! How long should I wait before I bleach it?

That is, my hair gets squashed and all the curls get flattened. How do you ladies handle this in the winter? P.S. I have to wear hats in the winter...otherwise I get colds and sick.

I dread shaving, such a chore! I let my facial hair grow in for three entire months (90-100 days) and then I decided to shave it.

I forgot the tip about using a scissors to cut it short before shaving and ended up running through 3 razor blades, alternating 'em and cutting my beard thinner and thinner ,layer by layer, and it took me almost an hour to get the clean-shaven look.

I wonder how long is a reasonable amount of time to spend on shaving the face? How can I make it faster? so boring yet i'd have to pay a bit attention or nicks and cuts and i bleed... does it scar? oh my, i already got enough acne scars. .

hey guy i have pretty long hair it surpasses my ears and like 2 incines or maybe inche and half away from my chin i was thinking about getting my hair cut to about an inch from where my probb.. my temple is down and around so i leave the top half of my hair long.. and make it even... what do u guys think.... anyone have pics of this by the way if u know what i am talking about

I work in a Fresh Food Department at the Supermarket - so I am always wearing a hat. But my hair is too short to put into a ponytail. And my hair normally goes crazy if I leave it.

I've always had dark eye brows & dark blonde hair. A few times, they've put some of the hair color on my brows for a few minutes to lighten them a little when I get my hair colored professionally. Ok i used to use number 10 hair gel and spike my hair . I went down to 8 and i still have the same look . My hair looks good without hair gel.. so i am trying to comb my hair to the top without making it look like i used gel.
