not really.short hair is hot sometimes. it all depends on ur style and how u dress and talk. if u dress baggy and are rough and sometimes rude ...and act somewhat like a guy, then ppl may get the perception that a girl is gay.
either way, if u like ur hair short go for it,i'm pretty sure it should look good since short hair is "in" right now.

No, not at all. I think that short hair looks really cool on women! Having short hair shows that you are confident in your beauty and that you are not afraid of what other people may think or say about you. However, short cuts can be hard for people with certain face shapes to wear (like square or round). But I'd say that as long as a short cut is clean and flattering, nobody's going to assume that the woman wearing it is a lesbian.

I personally don't think anything of it. If a girl wants short hair then why should it matter what other people think about it... maybe it looks better than long hair. And also once you have kids a lot of times you tend to either cut your hair short or put it up all the time.... I have a 1 and 2 year old and if I didn't wear my hair up them my kids would pull it out.

Not necessarily. Some women, especially older ones, keep their hair very short because it's easier to maintain and/or they like the coolness of it. Plus, long hair doesn't look good on everyone. Also, I've met quite a few lesbians with long, beautiful hair and it's very obvious what their orientation is. So, no, I don't think so.

LOL you know - I never thought of it that way, but you're right. When I have short hair - I get more of that "are you gay/lesbian" crap than when my hair is long. Funny! And honestly, I have VERY VERY THICK hair and it's a pain in the tush to have it too long. Just this last summer it was so short it was only 1inch spikes on top and close cut on the sides and back. It was SO easy to deal with!!! hehe

Most of the time, I honestly don't assume things like that. I know a lot of people do because of the whole "butch jock" look, but I have lots of friends who have short hair, but only cuz it's easy to manage and looks cute with their face structure. I just assume that they like that hair style :)

Read my whole answer before you make a judgment:
I used to think so & when I was in hospital, this very stern nurse with a buzz cut overhear me call her "that dyk*e". She explained to me that her sister had cancer & lost her hair & that she & some friends all shaved their heads to make her feel better. Nowdays I HOPE a person is gay if they have short hair and not suffering the tragedies this family was going through. It's only hair, it will grow back!

Yes and no. Yes, if you are around gays and lesbians.
No if you always wear your hair that way. I have lovely, healthy, short hair and am definately hetero. I do not have any problems with the guys who think it is cute and sexy. Some do want me to grow it a little longer, but short hair is low-maintenance!! Yeah short hair!!

I wouldn't assume a girl is gay if she has short hair. Hair length preferences vary depending on the person, not sexuality.
