I have had a few answers back and they are good answers except the solutions seemed to be lemon juice or clarifying shampoo. The downfall with these products are they will dry the hair out. Even tho i hate the colour, the dye did make my hair really shiny. I would like to keep the shine if i can. probably too much to ask but someone out there might know of a solution. Heres hoping!!

There Isn't ANYTHING 'Natural' That Will Do This.

If You Want To 'Lift' The Color A Little Bit AND Keep The Shine Try Using CLAIROL® LUMINIZE™ (Found In Beauty Supplies) it Is A Gentle,NO AMMONIA Hairlighting Lotion That Gently Lifts The Hair Color Just One Or Two Shades. And Conditions And Shines The Hair.

2) Try This Trick: Get The Lightest Shade Of Blonde Available In L'Oreal® EXCELENCE® Creme. WET YOUR HAIR THOROUGHLY And Apply The Color Watch The Development CAREFULLY (Use Stand Test in Instructions) And Rinse-Off When The Hair Is Just Slightly Darker Than The Color You Want (It Will Look Lighter When It Dries) This Will Leave Your Hair In Great Shape With Plenty Of Shine.

Good-Luck!

Usually the lighter your hair gets, the less shine you will see. Especially if you make it white.

Anytime you change the structure of the hair, it's considered damaged. If you were to put lemon juice on your hair and sit out in the sun, you would dry out your hair.

Why don't you opt for a heavy highlight from a reputable salon. Then, you would get the light shade you desire. Either way, you will have to deep condition your hair.

hi, well i think i have the answer to your question about lightening your dyed hair. actually when you dye your hair it becomes lighter when u wash it. but here's my answer ok? u can't lighten dyed hair naturally, so u need to have it highlighted professionally. so there r 2 ways to do that & here's the answers 1... you can have it highlighted by a cap. & 2 you can have it highlighted by weaves. the difference it this. a cap is put on you & they pick out the hair by a crochet hook then lift that hair with bleach the 2nd way is by putting the highlights in your hair with a rat tailed comb & it's called weaving in & it's closer to your roots & they cost more but r worth it in the end. so good luck bb, nobrethequeen
