Unlike a perm, color setting takes within the time it is processing. you may wash your hair after coloring as soon as you like. When a stylist takes the color out of you hair she shampoos and conditions it so therefore it has already been washed. Some colors like reds especially tend to fade from frequent shampoos but overall its the day after and it will take more than a couple of washes to fade.

RE:
How soon should I wash my hair after dyeing it?
I have permed hair and today, I had my hair colored in a salon.
Because the stylist blowdried my hair, it became straight. I have to go somewhere tomorrow so I want to wash my hair to get back my curls again.
The question is, is it ok to wash my hair tomorrow and shampoo it? Or can I just wet...

Would you happen to know the brand of the dye used to color your hair? It usually says at the back of the package how long you have to let the color 'set' and how long before you can shampoo your hair. Others come with a special shampoo made to recondition your hair after the color treatment. I'd say it's safe to wash your hair tomorrow, but just to be on the safe side, ask your stylist.
Good luck. :p

I doubt the colour would fade that much. You can buy shampoos and conditioners specially made for coloured hair which help keep the colour longer, so I would be using one of these anyway.

I think it would be find to wash it the day after your color was put in. That's when I usually do mine, on the day after.

The Color should be fine. I would just wet it because its very dry from all the processing. Just to save the poor hair. Be nice to it for a couple days.

The color is in now- that's why you have to sit there while it takes. You can wash it all you want.
