Is Pantene considered a cheap hair product? I keep hearing that cheap products are not as effective and that Pantene is actually bad for the hair, as it coats hair with silicon? What does silicon do to your hair?

Anyway, I want to make my dull hair shine again. I've been using head&shoulders now for a year, oblivious to the fact that it actually damages your hair.

So would Pantene be a good choice? If so, which product should i buy? (I hear Ice Shine is most suited for completing this task) I'm looking for one that will add shine. If not, which brand should I get?

this past school year i haven't been getting a lot of sleep. Probably an average of 6 or 7 hours a night. I feel very weird like whenever someone says something to me i don't process it and i ask "what?". Also it feels like im a walking zombie and like part of my brain is turned off, i can't function like i used to. I'm ALWAYS tired, and even when i had a week off of school and got like average of 9 to 10 hours a night for like 7 consistent days i didn't feel normal, just the same symptoms and very tired. How can i cure this and how long will it take?

I straighten my curly hair once a week and I love my curly hair, but I'm afraid if I straighten it too much then my naturally curly hair will go away. Will this happen?

whenever i straighten it i have little frizzies from where my hair has broken. When i try putting a frizz product it just makes my hair look oily. Also, My hair is black with blonde highlights so it looks oily easy. What can i do to help those frizzes go down without my hair looking oily?

Hey ladies can you help me please??i have always had very thick,very hard-to-manage brown hair,and then i started straightening it and it looked better.But now even when i straighten it still is HUGE!(POOFY!LOL) and there is a big bump in the back of my hair that just won't settle.But i dont tie my hair much so i dont know why this is so..?? and is there anything i am doing wrong?i wash & condition my hair every other day...any good hair tips will be greatly appreciated.

I heard someone say that a child's relaxer is no different than an adult relaxer. But that would contradict the companies for making a child's relaxer(as if theres a difference from the adult's).

Okay I have really long hair. I mean it's down like past my butt almost. It's pretty thin. It get's frizzy when I don't blow dry it. It's pretty when I wear it down yet I hate the frizz. I don't want to cut it or anything. I usually wear it in a bun like every day but i'm getting tired of that. I don't want to wear it down because it's too long. Pony tails don't look good on me. Help?

Ok here goes,

Im naturally brunette. Got a full head of blonde easy meche highlights done, all was grand. Then got it done again. Then the next time I went to a different salon and the stylist suggested that if I want to go all over blonde without a root I should go for a tint on the roots... so I did. It turned out ginger, she told me the gradual result would be better over time if I kept getting the same done every 6 weeks. Two weeks after I noticed loads of broken bits of hair along my parting and went back to her cuz the ginger was AWFUL. She said she cudnt do nething with it cuz its so damaged and to leave it 4 a while and use treatments, which I did. I thought better than to go back to her again but now no hair dresser will go near me,I cant dye over with blonde/brown dye cuz it might fall out/ go green and I have a head like a rainbow-brown root followed by ginger followed by blonde and brownish ends... :(
