Hi, I actually read this really good article about six steps to smooth straight hair, you'll find more useful information there I'm sure:

If you don't want to get a chemical straightner, or have your hair processed, then all you can do is try some different styling techniques.
Try washing your hair, using a smoothing balm and work it through your hair. Use a rollerbrush and hair dryer to "pull" the hair straight. It's kind of akward to do, but do your best.
Finish up with some shine syrum and use a flat iron to press out any kinks.
Lots of people will argue over which brand of flat-iron to buy, but from experience I will just suggest you buy a moderately priced one in the $30-50 dollar range. Just make sure it has ceramic base or they came out with new ceramic and titanium blend ones. Either type should work fine, regardless of brand name.
Good Luck!

hi my hair is curly too . what i do is when i take a shower i brush my hair back into a pony tail so tight i feel like my eyes are going to pop out of my head. so then when i wake up in the morning the top of my hair ...well at least the first layer is straight. then i get a blowdryer with one of those comb attachments and i will take sections and straighten my hair. but of course you need the top of the line curling iron and flat iron. .. isnt crazy we go through all of this trouble trying to straighten our hair but we still need a little curl. hey watch out for the weather .... the humidity it will get you:<

Use a straighting iron. It'll straighten your hair perfectly just make sure you put mousse in it or hair spray when your done and make sure it's not damp or wet.

wel u dont have to chemically alter your hair for it to become straight....u could easily use ceramic straighteners to do this using a protective products..you may want to try blended beauty's straightening pearl and straightening glaze (www.blended-beauty.com) to help mentain its straightness for longer....or u could try using curls milkshake at www.curls.biz.....it wont make your hair straight but its meant to ease out the curls a bit.....

use a hair straightener on it, you can buy one where curling irons are sold
also wear long, the longer the hair the less curly
most women, myself included, have straight and want curls or have curls and want straight,

when you get out of the shower put in some hair serum and blow dry it using a flat brush. (make sure to use a diffuser)
when your hair is completely dry, go over it with a flat iron.
