I believe it might. I had a friend who had to giver her Great Dane away because her new husband was really allergic. They gave her to a family and found out she was being really neglected and abused and went to get her back 2 weeks later. The poor dogs entire muzzle had turned grey by then from such trauma.

We all used to think so, but the fact of the matter is, its a gean we have when we are born and we go gray when we get older as the gean causes it. Worry does not cause gray or white hair. Take care Heather

not sure but people who have been thru alot of things in a short period of time (bad things) tend to age faster so i would guess yes, over time it could.
