My hairstyle right now is very short ( about an 1 inch long all the way over), and it is very coarse, when getting a relaxer, I would go for bone straight and then have it hot curled. I am trying not to use so much heat on it right now, because i have a form of alopecia, but i like it short, and would like to see what the natural curl pattern would be for me.

I am 13 and my hair is about shoulder lenth. I have side sweeping bangs that go about halfway down my face. My hair is a golden brown with black lowlights...I really want a new hair style but I dont know what to get. I have a picture of my hair below. My boyfriend doesnt want my hair short so I dont want to take off too much lenth. I also dont want any kind of chin lenth style. I also dont look very good in curls or wavy hair my hair is currently straight. What do you think would be a good style for my hair? I wouldnt mind getting it cut a little. But not more than an inch. Thanks...

I've always had fine hair, and it's never been very thick. Is there anything I can do, or products I can use that'll make my hair grow in thicker?

For the last several years I have been highlighting my naturally ashy blonde/light brown hair, sometimes a full, sometimes a partial.
Now when I straighten it (naturally curly) it looks like I have blotchy spots. my colorist thought a solution would be some low lights in the mix but it's still blotchy and now darker then I would have preferred.

I have been wondering if I should just have them color all over blonde and let that be that. What are the differences. I just want a consistently nice blonde shade that isn't too golden.

thanks!
xoxo

I heard some good review for Paul Mitchell's super skinny hair serum, but have never tried it. I like to use it in a way that I can enhance and style my wavy hair rather than making it sleek and too straight... I like to "air dry" rather than using heat, because my hair is too dry.

Those of you who have the same type of hair... what products or brands worked for you?

Hey there,

I am very fair skinned and have naturally dirty blonde hair. Right now I'm a brunette. I have grey/blue eyes. What colour of blond should I go... and I don't wanto go back to my plain ol'natural hair colour. In hair dressor terms my natural colour is a level 7 that is what I've heard them say.

What kind of highlights, or dementions could I get to?

What hair cuts are hot right now too, if I was to get it styled?

If you can relate the hair colour you think is best, to a celebretly and add a link that would be great for a visual.

Thanks

does this mean if there is a client with previously coloured hair at level 4, that it cannot be lightened to level 5 or 6?
Does she have to wait until it grows out?

I'm using a Rusk professional grade straightener but do I still have to be afraid of damage? I don't want my hair to suddenly start thinning.
