Its totally possible. Just boil the Kool Aid in water for a few minutes. Let it cool but while it is still hot (at a temperature you can stand) soak your hair in it. This is the hard part. I used to hang over a bench with my head in a bucket. I would do it pretty much till my head was pounding. But I think most people go with about 15 minutes. I just liked to have it bright as possible.
I would also use like 20 packets to get a really intense color.
The only problem is, is that it is really hard to get rid of. And it fades quickly.
I have also created a paste with Kool Aid and used it to do streaks which look much better when they are fading than an all over color.

have fun

It is near impossible to get a good blue color from Kool-Aid dying.
You would have to have super pale blonde hair, and you would need to leave it in your hair overnight.
If you want to try it out, do this:
Put on latex gloves (like Dr.s wear)
Mix up
4 packets of Kool-Aid powder
with 1 1/2 cups of warm water (it will be a kinda thick liquid)
DO NOT ADD SUGAR!

Mist your hair with plain water till it is a little damp
hang your head over the sink (kitchen works best, or the bathtub)
Then pour the cooled Kool-Aid over your hair, scrunching your hair all up to make sure it soaks in. Do it over a bowl if you can, to catch the stuff that runs off, and pour that over your head, do this about 5 times. Squeeze out most of it, then wrap your head in a plastic bag and leave it for about 6 hours (or as long as you can stand it)
Rinse it out and voila you have blue raspberry scented, very pale blue hair.
It doesn't last very long, and eventually (in like 3 days) it looks like old lady grey hair.

This will pretty much only work on blond hair.
I used to use Cherry on my dark brown hair, and it sorta worked.

It's spelled Kool-Aid. And you just mix it with water and soak your hair in it for at least 15 minutes
