maybe loose curls and you can use a curling iron.

Try Bouncy Curls up in a pony tail with partially curled side swept bangs and if you dont have bangs try to put two or three skinny wavy curls out in the front.
Straightning your hair is also simple yet chique!

i think wearing your hair curly or straight (which ever looks best for you) and put the "poof" in your hair.. i do that and people always say how cute and pretty i look.. hope i helped and have fun at your dance! :]
