sick of the same style...but dont want anything too daring...ideas?

I know it sounds stupid,but HOW do I curl my own hair with a curlingiron? I know how you do it with the spray,parting the hair in different sections and put hairclips on them and etc.,
BUT,it sure is hard to do it on yourself compared to other people's head.
If I do it,I end up being finished after 2 hours,and it doesn't even look that good.
I GET SOOOOO FRUSTRATED!
I even pay a hairstylist to do it for me ($25) each time a few times outta the week,but it's about time for me to learn it on my own and save that $.

I have already tried the extra mirror thing....
WILL ANYBODY HELP ME OUT PLEASE????

you know i've been using pantene shampoo since 1995 and there on i use it every day ,i like the fragrance of that shampoo and when i bought your newest look the black cap one the latest now when i use it my head is aching until now and now im asking if you just change the ingredients, for me i dont like it.i like pantene so much i used it until now but please dont change the original engredients.thank you

My natural hair colour is very dark brown but for a coulple of years i had it blonde and just before i meet my boyfriend i went back to my natural colour.He's seen pictures of me when i was blonde and he hates it, says it didnt suit me and that i look far better dark. Im thinking about having a FEW FINE blonde highlights put in and he aint happy, says i cant!!What do i do???

whenever i curl my hair, it looks thick and cute but when i straighten it, it looked all fragile and thin. How can i still have my hair straighten and not have it look so thin. i put in moisturizer
and all of that stuff. still doesn't work.

My hair only looks good when i come out of the shower and then i towel dry it well - so its stil wet but not soaking.

I'm a man and i need a hair product that acts as water , ie. doesnt make hair look thicker, doesnt make look greasy, easy to play with ,etc.

my real original hair is long with tight curls .. but i have been straightening/colouring/relaxing etc.. for like 8 years.. so my hair has been all dried up and it looks dead and frizzy .despite going for monthly hair treatments .. i never cut my hair short before but i only trimmed them . and my hair grows very very slow ...
i feel like shaving my hair so that i can get back my original curls but im so afraid it will not grow back..
any advice?

Yes, it is horrible to have blonde hair. Everything that shows shows, like oily scapls, dry hair, and knotty ends. I need help! Which shampho or condintoner works for me? is there anything I can do to contral my puffinest? any tips and tricks to make my hair look fine? HELP!

I bleached my black hair today(strands) and I left it on for one hour and had the blow dyer on it the entire time and my hair came out like orange/blonde/brown all mixed. So it's basically orange or bronze. If I bought a blond dye kit, would it come out lighter? If not, how long until I could do something so it comes out blond blond? I mean bright. I want a nice contrast in my hair. Thanks.

I want to cut my own hair. I'm not going for like a straight all over but but a choppy, different layered cut. My hair right now is in alot of choppy layers, thinner in the front and the layers get shorter on the top. a "scene" cut or whatever. It's blond, black & orange. I want to cut some of the shorter layers on top and in the back so they look more choppy. If I got some scissors and just started cutting, would it come out ok? I don't really want to be like Britney but I want it to look decent. Any tips?

I have really dark brown hair and would love to get a lighter red color. But it seems like my hair only ever gets darker when I dye it myself, and I'm not willing to cough up the fundage to get it done professionally. Can anyone offer opinions/suggestions on what would work best? Thanks much =)

i have very thick hair and i got it cut about 4 inches past my shoulder.. and got it layered.. there are about 4 layers..shortest just below my jawline.. my hair is black.. and kinda wavy.. this makes my hair look even fuller on top..

how should i maintain my hair..

I find it well even if I do not rinse the conditioner and apply it after my bath like a hair gel. Is it sthg not proper.
How much a conditioner / gel and mousse are different to each other.

Okay well, I have NATURAL white-blonde hair...And last month I dyed my hair black. By summer, I plan to go back to white-blonde. After that one dye job, it really did a number on my hair. It is breaking off from time to time, but not always. I was told by a hairdresser that when I do go back blonde, the color will have to be stripped and I will need to immediately bleach to get my color back since the black stained my hair. So, here is where the questions come in. How badly will my hair be damaged ? Is it going to cost me a lot of money ? Are there really products that strip BLACK color, and allow for immediate bleaching ? Professional help is really prefered...But anyone who has experience can also try to answer. :] Thanks in advance.

I used to use all tresemme hair products, but my hair got really hard to control. I recently started just using the shampoo and using a pantene conditioner, and my hair is so much more soft, and it stays straight more. My friend's hairdresser says she gets alot of people who's hair won't dye a different colour (also my situation), or can't style it(my situation again). Has anyone else had problems with their tresemme?

it's made out of:
olive oil, peanut oil, lanoli, camphor, and yellow beeswax...
i'm gonna wear it overnight...
it reminds me of castor oil..
does this help hair?
