I bleached my black hair today(strands) and I left it on for one hour and had the blow dyer on it the entire time and my hair came out like orange/blonde/brown all mixed. So it's basically orange or bronze. If I bought a blond dye kit, would it come out lighter? If not, how long until I could do something so it comes out blond blond? I mean bright. I want a nice contrast in my hair. Thanks.

Ok well..when your going from black to blonde thats a vast change. what your need to do is buy the loreal highlighting kit..(leaves no bronzy look) and apply to the dyed area again. it takes time to make it look blonde when your hair is that dark. anyhow leave it on for about an 45 min to hr and you should be happy with the results =)

No I'm afraid not. Bleaching is as light as you can take your hair. You can't go from black to white in one color. Not your fault though, at all. Most people don't know that.

Also, bleach is the most harmful thing for your hair. I'm not saying 'Don't do it'...(because I use it myself) - But, once you've used bleach, the hair it touched will never be the same. Even if you color it back dark the white(or bronze in your case) will shine through.

Good luck and feel free to email me if you have more questions. :)
