Reds fade very quickly, so that might be why you did not have success in the past. A great way to get a fashion color like burgundy is to get a cellophane or rinse. These products are temporary and have no peroxide. This will allow you to sample many colors until you find the one you like best and then all you have to do is shampoo it in whenever you feel like it. Using a kit may get you the same bad results as before. I wear my hair in a "crayon red" color which is a celllophane and I just refresh it monthly with no damage to my hair. The fewer chemicals used on the hair, the better!

Explore the Loreal Feria power reds collection what I recommend is the Loreal Feria #R37 Blow out burgundy. It is a wonderful burgundy red which shimmers even on the darkest brown. It is a wonderful hair color salon quality without the salon price. After coloring use a leave in conditioner. You will like this color. You will look fab and glam!

Lighten parts of your hair that you are wanting to have burgundy and then color on top of those lightened areas.

for me it depends upon the girl. Like I might notice a girl with black hair as well as think she is totally hot but see a girl with blond hair that is meh and vice versa.
