Hair - February 2007

I ALWAYS use salon products. I have never use products from Target/Wal-mart types stores. I was always told all those products have massive amounts of wax in them vs. water.
I generally use Rusk, Biolage, Matrix Sleek, or Alterna. I was told by my girlfriend that her stylist said Infusium 23 is actually ok to use. Is this true??
I take huge pride in the beauty of my hair and I don't want to jeopardize it by using an awful product. Is Infusium 23 ok to use? My hair feels great after using it twice, but what are we talking about as far as long term.

i just washed my hair but didn't condition it properly. is it okay if i just but some conditioner in but not wash it out.

Now that's it's winter, my dandruff is getting worse. My scalp is itchy, and when I scratch, it just exacerbates the problem. I've heard that dandruff is caused by oily scalp, but itching is caused by dry hair. So what do I have? I think my scalp is oily, but my ends are dry. And what's the best treatment, since I think anti-dandruff shampoos, like Head n Shoulders, don't work on me.

Im a guy with short curly caucasian hair. I hate it. i have tried everything. Before i would go to school i would straighten it and it looked so good and i felt good about myself, but than id take a shower er go to PE class and it would be like what the hell. I just want some chemical relaxer or anything to make my curly hair wavy or if achievable, straight. If anyone has anything that they have used before that they know works for what i am looking for, please let me know. i am only fifteen so i have limited amounts of money. Thanks alot.

I have shoulder length hair, really thick, and its not short enough to just use one bottle of hair color. I happen to have one box of burgundy, and one box of dark blonde color (two different brands) I was wondering 1. what would happen if I mixed in some of the blond with the burgundy 2. would the end result look really stupid. I wouldn't really try this unless I did a test strand first to see what happens, but I just wanted an opinion on what you think would happen.

If hair is dyed from medium blonde to light brown yesterday; can it be further darkened from light brown to dark brown today?

I'm told it's not a good idea to do when someone is lightening their hair, but what about darkening it? Is it relatively safe for the hair?
