In my journey with terrible dandruff, Head and Shoulders both does no longer some thing and makes it worse. right it truly is what I have discovered extremely helps: a million. Scalpacin. You prepare it for your scalp and it stops the itch for further or less 12 hours, so proper even as going to college or artwork. It would not make your hair seem dirty or greasy and wouldn't have an effective scent. you'll get it at Wal-Mart. 2. Coal Tar shampoo. again, you'll get it at walmart. i imagine Neutogena makes one, yet I were given the walmart form and it extremely works only as sturdy. It does scent, although the scent received't linger on your hair. in common words use about once a week. It extremely helps sparkling the dandruff and end countless the itching.

You first have to get rid of your dandruff problem first or dying your hair will make it even worse because it's a chemical process and can agitate your scalp. Next, the day before you dye you can wash your hair using a clarifying shampoo to get rid of any oils or products and restore your hair to a normal PH Level. When you dye your hair make sure it's completely dry and go for it! To maintain your hair continue to use a clarifying shampoo but look for a product that states it doesn't strip color or better yet adds color deposits to maintain color without making it brassy. Good Luck!

You should wash your hair the day before using a good shampoo for oily hair. Do not use any time of conditioner or cream rinse.
The next day you should be able to dye your hair.
If you hair is too oily in that short period of time, then wash your hair, again don't use any conditioners on it. Blow it dry, wait a couple of hours and then dye it.
If neither works then talk to a good salon and see what they would recommend.

See a dermatologist first- oily hair is prone to dandruff, but clumps of dandruff indicate that your scalp is traumatized. Take care of that first before you torture your hair with hair dye.

I wouldn't dye that type of hair. I think the best solution is to first make the hair healthy. If your too embarressed to get products from the store...then try wetting your hair and cover in baking soda. Let stand for 15mins, then rinse...wait 10mins then wash with shampoo and conditionar. It will clean your hair, bring out natural highlights and strengthen it.

In replace of baking soda you can also use Eggs, Vingear, and even beer. But they can leave you with a temporary odor if your shampoo isn't strong enough.

Sry about the spelling!

K.. they have medicine for "clumps of dandruff"... maybe you should look into that before you look into dying your hair. If you try to dye your hair while you have a "problem" with your scalp, you can burn your scalp and make the problem worse.

wash your hair with cleansing poo and color it. dandruff has not been an issue to interfere in colour. If you take drugs that will interfere
if your dandruff is really bad see a dermatologist
usually dandruff is a dry scalp condition

Take a shower about an hour before you dye your hair, but be sure your hair is completely dry before you dye it.

Use a hair dryer.

Also, I know this works, if you have a vaccuum, use the nozzle-tube-thing and pass it through your hair if your hair isn't long. It'll suck any left over flakes right out of your hair.

Might want to wash the attachment first.
